Hyatt Place Kyoto King Room Tour

Today I walk you through the Hyatt Place Kyoto King Room tour. We had a great corner room which was quiet. This hotel also had a small laundry room as well as a small fitness center. There was a bar area that was open for short times in the evening. You could also purchase breakfast from the in house restaurant in the mornings.

Great tour of the room! Love there’s always slippers in Japanese hotel rooms! Which taxi app do you guys use in Kyoto? I hear the trains/ subways are not as developed as Tokyo and Osaka

The trains will take you to most of the major attractions in Kyoto and Osaka. We also walked to some as well as using Uber app. You can also download Go app for taxi service.

QUESTION: Paid nights count toward Globalist. Do nights paid in World of Hyatt points also count toward Globalist? Does this also apply to other brands such as ING?

Correct, paid and points nights count towards status in Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Hyatt:)

Do you use the pj’s or bring your own? Do you get to keep the slippers?

I always bring my own pj’s but you can keep the slippers:-)

There has been news about the Japanese government banning tourists from certain areas. Have you run into any issues?

Only one place in Kyoto, Gion District (corner) because people were harassing the geiko (geisha artists). You can still get into this district of you have a proper tour or yea ceremony tickets. But you can still walk around the rest of the areas surrounding.
