Our kits are very similar down to using one single rope. I got big into mobile hunting two years ago and had two long seasons trying a lot of different gear. Here are some tips on what I have done and have it dialed in pretty well. The LWCG doubles do stack better on the .5, however unless you stealth strip the entire stick they are super loud, even when I went slow. I also had the same TX5 saddle and never expanded it, so I got rid of it and got the DryAd harness (no hammock seat thing) and that thing does exactly what we want IMO. I ditched a bino harness for the same reason, I have been using the LWCG waist pack and it was awesome. Any decent fanny/waist pack would work well though. Kept it around my waist and I could slide it around to my back if I need it out of the way. I just have a long slick cord on my binos and wear them cross body and that worked well. Great video, I hope you had a great season.

Absolutely! And I did as well! Harvested a big doe with my bow, and my first buck with my bow! Freezer is full. @@huntready1435

For daisy chains, use a truckers hitch. Can get those sticks insanely tight and solid with daisy chains.

That's what the USA Pro's from The Amsteel guy use. Luckily the beast sticks bite good

I will be making the jump to the .5 or Ranger eventually. I will jhook my LWCG doubles to the bottom of the seat and will have the top of the seat for whatever i want.

I thought I was the only one that hated wearing a bino harness. I just keep my binos in my bag now.

@@JesseandRonnie It gets in the way for sure setting up and tearing down. But it's so damn handy. I'm going to try the Kufaru harness next year. Looks a bit more streamlined

Where’d you get the daisy chains?

And what length?
@huntready143510 ай бұрын
They are Tethrd Versa Links. Only come in 1 size.
@huntready143510 ай бұрын
They are 8 ft in length. They work great!

What brand and size is your slatwall? That’s sharp
@huntready143524 күн бұрын
@@chrismccoy8280 it's 4x8 sheet of slat panel from Menards. I used black spray paint in the slat grooves and used a roller to put green paint on. It really turned out good. Going to add more!

Can you tell the difference between the .5 and .75 seat? Debating on going to the medium on my .5, but it just doesn't look like its all that different. Can your butt tell the difference between them?
@huntready14352 ай бұрын
The .75 seat is significantly bigger. I dont really notice any difference in comfort honestly but I'm not that big of a guy. I have been thinking about putting the .75 seat on the .5 and giving it a try.
@thebootbowhunting74132 ай бұрын
@@huntready1435 Thanks. Pic on the lwcg site with the seats stacked on top each other makes it look like it’s not much different. I just don’t want to give up platform space for something that might not change comfort. Guess I’ll give it a go.

Need make that eye on your tether larger to run the ropeman n other carabiner thru. Side loading the carabiner is a huge safety issue n not recommeneded.

I'll look into it. Appreciate that

I agree with the bino harness delete for the mobile game. I like it during rifle when Im still hunting from the ground or slow sit and stalk with a gun but having to climb and bow hunt with all of that on my chest...no thanks. It makes me cringe when I see guys with basically a pack on their chest.
