Hey man they are called the novarossi cx12 I also have in my RC10GT. Nova still makes all the parts for it. If you need factory settings it’s 5 turns on the high speed needle from closed. The low speed needle is 3.5 turns from closed. And it’s a 0.6 mm idle gap

hey buddy! thanks for watching. The RS4 is'nt mine, but the thunder tiger is, and yes it's got an awesome nissan 350Z body. Unfortunately the rally wheels I was using for this video are to wide and the body did not even fit, i tried to make it fit, but i dont want to cut it. The RS4 has a body too, but not painted. Glad you liked my bike, but i made many mistakes when i first built it in 2012. I should have used a mountain bike to begin with, not a beach cruiser. Nitrogang!!!

hey bro!! you know your stuff! Do you know I have 2 Schumacher 3-speed chassis? All need major work, but still complete. I've got an XTR-3E and a Menace 21. Honestly the Schumacher design is cool on paper, but it's highly specialized and even the damn wheel hubs are not generic. Thats why you don't see many running these days, the engines were good in them though, the .21 thunder tigers.

I'll be making a video on it soon, I'm sure you made a video about clutch spring replacement, going to have to search your channel. Anyway, major issue on that, one of the Clutch Housing bolts snapped off right in the housing itself (previous owner used way too much red thread lock). So I need to somehow extract the bolt now. What do you think about this?

sup bro! Sorry to hear you're having spur gear issue, its pretty common really, just replace it and move on. Anyway, the 32t stands for 32 Teeth on the gear. There are usually multiple sizes of spur gears and pinion gears ( gear on the motor) because that is how you change your speed and torque (just buy getting taller or shorter gears), meaning more or less teeth. If you get a spur with less than 32T you will have more top speed. The easiest thing to do is get a pinion with more teeth to get more top speed. Its all about the final drive ratio, read about that some, you will see.

hey my dude! Glad to see you getting into the Nitro hobby! Generally the pistons are not interchangeable from different displacement engines. But the main this is really the Sleeve, not the piston. IN the nitro motor the sleeve should have some "PINCH" at the top, this is where compression comes from mostly. Look up online on the concept of nitro engines and "PINCH" you will see it's extremely important.

The gas bike can do close to 30 MPH, I built it back in 2012, and have not even replaced the original spark plug. I could have drifted my rc easily, but then those tires would be done, I hate paying for tires, total waste of money, you know.

hey my dude! You cannot go wrong with the awesome RS4-3 shaft drive chassis. In fact the regal RTR 3 model was my first hobby grade RC. Also the only engine I ever destroyed due to inexperience, lol. The evo is even way better, congrats!! I recently picked up an original super nitro rs4, going to unbox that soon.

hey dude, mine is a 60CC, I got it back in 2012 and it's been perfect since. Here is an amazon link to a better and newer 80CC model with a black painted motor. amzn.to/3jiuf2f. All you need is any mountain bike frame (with a nice open center area - without suspension) and this is easy, don't use the Beach cruiser bike I used, the steel tubes are too thick and you have coaster brakes only.

My first nitro was an original Nitro RS4. Like you said, it was what got me into Nitro, Then got a RC10GT, then a Nitro TC3 and the Serpent Impulse, TMaxx, etc...

hey bro! Yup, the Nitro RS4 series was really where the many people got into it because it was usually RTR and reliable. Considering this stock one runs really well to this day I don't think anybody can say HPI was ever a bad brand. I have an original NTC3 to this day bro, gotta make a video on it soon. hey bro!! Yup, it must be because they only have the 16% oil left, just like the store this gallon was purchased from. Normally I would get the 12% oil, but to be honest this 16% blend ran really well, just took a long time to heat up for the speed passes. IT's got very good cooling qualities.

I found the chasis in a box of stuff I bought off a guy, so I built it all up myself. I'm bug into nitro world , I have 16 of them that I've just built over time , mostly since this whole covid started. But on and off since I was 14 . If I can figure out how to I'll post some pictures of it tonight

hey my dude! good question! I could do a while video on that. Every RC i own there is a reason and purpose along with a story. Some are so old that driving them would just be cruel at this point since getting parts would be nearly impossible. But i still like them. I honestly cannot fully say which I hate the most, other then the toy grade models, because for my purposes they are useless. I only buy RCs that i think others would be interested in because i am also, you know.

The pull start says hpi not sure size i have to get into it needs new spur and looks like used it till stripped put in box without cleaning they did take all fuel out so carb should be ok

@@paulclancy2404 hey dude, there is a close to 100% chance that it's not a Novarossi made engine, even if it was it would not say Novarossi on it. It was only sold by HPI as an upgrade long ago. Anyway the pull start should say which motor it is.

The HPI seems to have a dirty filter but i did'nt notice at the time of running it, i think it may just be grey foam possibly. I know that RS4 has very little run time on it, that's why its in like new condition.

hybrid32494 my nitro sport se throttle servo failed in the wide open position, or glitched idrk. Smashed into a boulder at full speed when I was a kid and no KZbin to comment. Only thing that broke was the top chassis deck snapped in half. I actually never fixed it and just ran it that way. . Sometimes bad things just happen, and seeing someone repair it and go over the damage is actually very helpful for someone new to the hobby.

hey my dude! how you doing! Yes, 25% nitro is fine. I've run 30 in these motors too, just be sure to run a not low oil content fuel and be rich enough that the motor does not run over 250 degrees.
