Funny to watch this. I used to hang in HP in the 70's. Had friends on wood Ave. Lot of Harley Davidson bikes back in those days. Different times.

Yeaaaa Hyde park can be very active as he said wood ave is grim but that’s more heading towards the mattapan end also river st grille is nasty what should have been mentioned was park54 it’s a bit recent to the park but the food is fckin fabulous also there is a sip and paint spot right next to it so it’s a perfect strip for date nights…. But Hyde park has definitely changed I grew up there used to be at the muni everyday or we would hang out at the McDonald’s in clearly square the whole place would just be full of kids. I’m 31 now and live in Dorchester on Ballou ave but I still go to Hyde park for everything lol the Dunkin’ Donuts in Wolcott square and now that it’s hot the Olsen memorial pool and it’s cool because I get to show my daughter all the places her mom used to love Hyde park is definitely home to me. Thanks for this upload ❤ ps what he was forgetting was Kelly field and the skate park isn’t abandoned lol

False. Hyde park is a great little neighborhood and anything that happens is because someone WANTS it to happen. You literally have to bring problems to your doorstep in Hyde park. Lol safest and nicest area in Boston 💀 stop trying to be hard weirdo. Grew up right up the street and Dedham is close by boo. Nothing scary in HP grow up cut it out

A lot of mixed reactions lol. Some saying Hyde Park is safe and some saying not. Like I said, you’re both right. It’s really both depending on where you are. Clearly Sq is cool until it’s gets busy on Business street and it’s cute until it pops off in Georgetown lol. I’d still say Hyde Park is relatively safe and behind that is its strong sense of community.💫 -VAV

@@paidphatz1460 little brother..i am well past the age of fake claiming hoods in the internet for clout To say there's nothing good about Hyde park? Well that ain't true at all. I get nothing from Saying Wood Ave and Garfield Ave are hoods. I don't even think that was the point of the video. But I grew up in Hyde Park. Walking in Wood Ave was an automatic ads whipping from my father. They broke into our house multiple times, killed multiple people including a pizza delivery man next door, shot a cop, stole our bikes, let peoples bushes on fire and broke into our garage. We had to have people watch our house if we went to Jersey for a few days. Google “wood ave eagles” better yet just type “Hyde park Boston” into youtube. Its all shootings and stabbings unfortunately. I lived it, I experienced it and we moved out to avoid my older brother being forced to join the Eagles. During the recession we had to move back and they had plastered lil posters of themselves, like event fliers? all over the neighborhood… Wood Ave was and really still is the hood. Just a fact. I'd say the same for those Garfield projects.
