Metro connecting main city road ( Mumbai route , vijaywada, UA, Bangalore) I thought , in future many private travels start from these metro station, to reducing the traffic at evening times .... And @KTRBRS sir taking the traffic example from Bangalore. 👌 If it happens in next less than 5 years, 1. No need to buy new city buses 2. Drainage issue lekunda cheyochu 3. Roads kuda chala baguntay 4. Mainly no pollution 5. Getting more revenue from metro My suggestion is 1. Falaknama to extend ChadrayaGutta/Airport 2. Nagole to Mehdipatam ( Aramghar, Attapur) 3. LakdiKapul to Mayapur extended to Mamatha Medical Sciences

Before planning for ORR and other outskirts, they need to extensively cover locations within the city like Financial District, Tellapur, Kokapet, Old City etc which are going to boom. Looking at the no new developments during last five years in the transportation sector, I think this plan may realize by 2040 only!!

Bangalore metro covers all the major parts of the city. With phase 2 completion I can completely skip using roads. Hyd metro is not planned properly. See the rush at ameerpet. Small stations and less couches

For ORR metro is not required as of today I guess. Remaining portions are much needed and will change the city commuting patterns drastically.

@@harishkakaraparthy3036Electric Buses are 6-8 times costlier than Diesel Buses and need drivers, conductors and maintenance staff. It is better to build a metro wherever possible, In all big cities like London, Newyork, Tokyo or Shanghai Metro is the main means of public transport.

@@deshampravesh7108 do you know how much cost of construction for metro ? And electric buses are maintenance friendly and one can operate it very cheap than diesel and petrol. Metro is needed but not on orr. We need a multi modal transport system not just metro every where. ORR can accomodate electric buses. Connect the city to orr through metros . Ensure all the places in the city has metro connectivity towards ORR and we can have common card system using which we can but tickets of metro and buses also. Travelling through bus will be faster on ORR. Because buses can go at 100 kmph on ORR. Metro should concentrate more inside the city and also to reach ORR from inside the city. And also to some auburbs outside orr. But along the ORR path you don’t need metro.

@@harishkakaraparthy3036 Having Electric Buses on Orr is the most useless idea, it doesn't support last mile connectivity. If you want to travel from Medchal to Uppal, Dilsukhnagar, JNTU, Vanastalipuram or Financial district. You have to change 2-3 busses, wait in bus stop and get stuck in traffic in peak hours. If there is metro, you will go home in time irrespective of rain, roadblocks or peak hours. And also it is very safe. The more the metro government build it is better for people.

Rapid transit is the need of the hour, everyone is buying cars without roads and parking spaces. In India less than 10% of families have cars. Imagine if more families start owning cars. We definitely need rapid transit, not only within already big plus ever growing cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore, but also between these cities and other ones in Telangana like Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, etc. Hope State and Center co-operate because these kind of rapid transit and other infra is the key to getting more investments and in turn more jobs for the youth.

@@shashankkumar7802 Yeah, that mindset has to change. Countries like Singapore, Germany and most of Europe encourage walking, cycling and taking public transport, and even the rich do that so often there. We used to have walking culture. Everyone must have heard stories by elders about how they used to walk 5 KM and back for school 😅. But as more and more roads are being built, there's less space to walk, and people are encroaching on the barely available footpaths, and there's always something or the other like a Pani Puri vendor, Electric Pole, some hoarding, etc. And we're treating the cycling track on ORR as a luxury and a landmark, when it must be a basic necessity. I hoped someone will build elevated cycling tracks with Solar roofs, at least some of it is coming true, but still not enough.

If there is no last mile connectivity, foot paths and crossing signals, metros will not serve the purpose of reducing traffic congestion

Yes yes yes big Yes finally someone understands this... A splendid city like HyD.... should have BOULEVARD 's n it's clean maintenance at any cost . Underground cabling system etc. Otherwise it's a big mess with no regulation.

@@mbbharath2659 yes , it's not just for aesthetics purpose. If there is no foot paths, crosing signals, connectivity transit, parking then lots of people will prefer private transport, they will not face the burden of walking on dirty/dusty roads, feeling anxious that they may get hit from behind.

ORR has enough space ,govt can run 100 electrical ac buses with low cost which costs around 100 crores ,instead of laying a rail track which costs around 60 crores per km, means 167km ×600 cr which is around 10,000/- crores ,it is a stupid decision, why dont the govt built the metro where there is necessary in the crowded areas easy acess to the citizens , and all the three RTC, METRO, and MMTS get in to a single organization provide a single pass or ticket to the passengers , then you can reduce the traffic on the roads ,provide proper foot paths and cycle tracks on the either sides of the roads and save the fuel ,save the lives of the people

Like in movie making pre and post production takes lots of time. For example the metro construction work between nagole and mettuguda started in 2012 and trail runs began in 2014. But the contract was awarded to LT in 2010 and the opening happened in 2017

Yeah you are absolutely right city like Hyderabad needs metro like delhi as most of the people travel only from like home to work and they messed up all the roads in the city with flyover instead of metro expansion in the city TS govt has built numerous unnecessary flyovers possibly they got lot of kick backs from the contractors.

Even the existing metro is not yet profitable....I don't know if the scientific methods and data used for the proposed lines...i think it is absurd...just to construct existing metro it costs 20000cr....I think the plans will become next kamleshwaram...like Shri jp narayana said.... If government wants funds to complete this project who are having lands and hoses near to this project should ready to pay metro tax but it should be completed with in 3 to 4years and with high qulaity. Once project completed no one will beat hyderbad.

7 years not completed the approved route. No DPR till this day for BHEL lakdikapool route. Rayadurgam shamshabad tenders not yet finalized. Still this minister say a proposal and eccintric way of talk, we propose and sent to centre and if centre not provides funds we go ahead with our own funds - no logic, if any one can spend on their own nobody will share ur expenses. What is the picture he wants? An outer ring road is for heavy and long journey vehicles which will avoid domestic traffic and now he wants a metro along outer ring road. What a fool this ktr and trying to fool everybody. Why can't he propose domestic of ordinary mmts type service along the railway line avoiding cross overs, which will cost us less. After all a metro is for metro only and to connect ur suburbans. Silly guy behaves just like his father. One day he says he will privatize the RTC and now he absorbs the staff as government employees. Veyyi naagallatho ramoji film city dunnestha, abhe nenekkada annanu, avado thagubothu raasaadu. These are stories of these father and son politics. Let us not believe this nonsense. As far as the expansions of lines within city are concerned, yes needed and they may start after 2 years from now on.

How will the lakdi ka pull line cross Gadchibowli junction. It is already a 3 tier flyover. Flyover 1... flyover on old mumbai road. Flyover 2.. orr to shilpa layout. Flyover 3.. orr to kondapur. Will they lay a flyover 4 on it?😮😮

BRTS is temporary solution and buses can't carry more people and if govt helps the contracting company and help the clearing the roads for them to build it wont take much time to built the metro system as we are more technology to build quickly then in the past

@@karthikhyd2900 I know that. Stop getting defensive for everything. Only people who are living here will know how difficult it has been for the past 5 years. If they start new construction, life becomes even more hell. I am not for or against any government. Both of them made our lives miserable. Anyway, it's not like this new metro going to complete anytime soon. It took so many years to finish the first phase itself. And stop saying it's central project so state government is not liable. Many central projects are being finished all over the country. They need to find a solution to make our lives better. Not just putting blame on each other. It won't help us. At the end of the day results matter. Not your emotions.

It is a NHAI project as it is a high way 163, even if state wants to fast track it it cannot, state did land acquisition for the project but NHAI is building it

@@ajayr5966 Who talked about state government here? I am not for or against any government. I just told that new construction can exaggerate our problems. At the end of the day we need a solution to a major problem. Not this blame game. What good that does for me? Center people keeps saying that state government didn't move electric cables and water pipelines which is causing delay and state government is blaming centre for not giving funds. We are caught in the middle. We are facing serious issue. Many big projects are being completed all over the country while this flyover is incomplete for 5 years. Even if they start works, it will take another 2 - 3 years to complete it. It is an extremely busy road where lakhs of vehicles travel everyday. A 10 minute journey is being stretched to 40 to 60 minutes and the journey is a literal hell. We can't reach metro easily so it's getting difficult to go inside the city. People here didn't cause this problem between state and central government. Why should we suffer?

1. 70km length took 6 years to complete 2. 415 km : might be for next generation 3. What is the use of Orr metro. Already road is designed for 120kmph with 8 lanes. It's just election stunts.
