We're a year into this generation and the OU forum on Smogon is still 75% people complaining about Gholdengo. Anyways, the new and returning Pokemon are a nice breath of fresh air, that new Tera Type is perhaps a little too complicated though. I dunno if younger players can really grasp what it does

Wouldn't Tera steel be better than Tera poison since you get a resistance to ice, dragon and flying whilst still being able to counter fairies

Many mons in this tier have ground or fighting coverage, so with tera poison it can at least absorb tspikes and switch into Zama A way better tera will be tera fairy

if you ever find out what the fuck that weird tera type is please say in a video, you are the only one I watch and I'm not looking it up myself, but also does fickle beam notify you when the move does more damage?

There is the new Stellar Typing. Was it that one, perhaps?

Stellar Tera keeps your original typing, gives you STAB on every move one time, and Tera Blast is Se on other teras at the cost of reducing both attack stats

If Fickle Beam procs the double damage it says something like "Hydrapple is going all out for this attack!" and if you're playing on cartridge the animation shows all of his heads firing beams instead of just the center one.
