17:40 the classic, forgetting about ability immunity after a tera. I was just sitting here totally expecting the opponent to fall for it lol. One of my favorites is tera ground Gogoat for that reason.

Hi Tommy! Have you tried using mirror herb on slacking? You can use slacking to switch in on something you think is going to setup with SD, no retreat, bulk up, shell smash etc. You can also run giga to bait a setup aswell and copy the stats and sweep thanks to slackings high bulk. Slaking @ Mirror Herb Ability: Truant Tera Type: Ghost EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Giga Impact - Knock Off - Earthquake Just an example of a build. You can run either drain punch, knock off or tera blast depending on the meta and team. Is there ever a reason to run this set. No, but it would make for one funny video.

Slaking: only moves every other turn, but hits like a fucking Tiger tank when it does move.

It is possible to change Slakings ability with a Lingering Aroma Oinkologne. Get the opponent to hit your Oink on the physical side, they will then have the Lingering Aroma ability. Then die or switch to Slaking, hit the opponent, and you will be free of Truant! :)

4:19 I've always thought that Dedenne's abilities are so bad that even on Scarf and Specs sets Cheek Pouch is still the best one because of the remote chance of someone randomly tricking you a berry. Your opponent really made it a possible scenario

It is very odd that they don't already have ZU as an official tier... even just to have it all grouped together in their menu dropdowns it makes sense from the UI perspective lol

What are good partners that cover for Slakings weakness outside of cofagrigus? Mirror herb teammates sound helpful. I wonder how mirror herb ditto works. Prankster encore mons could do well. Red card Mimikyu could be a good teammate to prevent free setup.

I expect Slaking to take the Weedle meta by storm in the upcoming years. Jokes aside, Truant needs a buff like preventing Slaking from getting completely owned by Protect, Sub or losing it's turn due to hax and healing up 1/8th HP whenever Slaking does fuck all.

I'd be happy if they retooled Truant to ignore subs and Protect-like moves (and possibly Reflect and Light Screen). Slaking is only going to act every second turn but its gonna make sure to make those moves COUNT.

Once again, I find it very perplexing that they have no added all the models to showdown yet. It's been years, guys! I honestly expect better from a bunch of unpaid volunteers!!!
