I saw you blast cabinet and wanted to share my thoughts - I have a small machine shop with a few dry blasting cabinets, and a wet cabinet. I went to my buddies shop, who does powdering coating, and he mentioned he got this wizbang blasting cabinet, paid like 10k for it. I find out, all it really has is a super nice filter + Tacoma company parts in it. I highly recommend you look at adding on a baffle + vacuum port and check out tacoma company or anyone who sell foot pedal blasting upgrades. for like a few bucks who can save hours. I went from foggy cabinet's and cant see shit, like your video, to it looking like daylight.

How about using duracoat as a base and hydrographic over that with duraclear sealant? Also how long do you wait to clear over any hydrographic print?

Duracoat base wont work consistently, but really no reason to use it as a base when hydro dipping paint will work just fine. You can use duraclear over the top but from testing we have done, the duraclear is not as durable as Cerakote clear, and Cerakote clear is not as durable as 2k urethane flat clear. Again, just my opinion from what I have tested.

With the activator does it matter what the tip size of the hvlp sprayer matter?

Yes, and no... I have had the best results with 1.4 to 1.8 tips, anything in-between that range works well. I like the 1.8 the best so far.

@@AllThingsFunHydrographics thanks, I bought a 1.8 tip to do spray on metallic flakes so I'll it a shot with activator. In all honesty I'd love to see some videos on metallic flakes or candy coats. Your channel is awesome though.

Can you hydro dip over duracoat?

Never tried it.... no reason to. Hydro dip paint and clears are just as good as duracoat.
