Great video. New trim looks superb! Do you have a video showing how to remove the drivers side lower trim in a Mk2 Leon? I have suspected failed door blend actuator that I'd like to investigate.

Hey David, cheers for watching. Yeah really pleased with how the trim looks. I now have a steering wheel to match as well. Do you mean the plastic trim strip thats across the handle/middle of the door card? There's a small cut out on the far right hand bottom edge. Pop a wee plastic trim removal tool in there and gently prise it up and work ur way along carefully. If it's the large inner triangular trim insert above that piece u want to remove, once the plastic strip is out the way, you can grab the lower left corner of the insert, lift it up and prise it away. These bits can be tricky if it's never been off before, a bit of brute force needed 💪🏻😂 Hope that helps 👍🏻

looked great one question is the tablier and the door panels hard plastic or soft to the touch?

Cheers 👍🏻 One part of the door panel, the inner curved piece is soft to the touch but everything else on the doors is hard scratchy plastic

Ah, the top of it is every so slightly soft, and the bottom half is hard plastic 👍🏻

Just depends on the look you're going for, and possibly in extreme sunny weather there'll be a good bit of reflection from the gloss, but I'm in the far north, so sun doesn't visit here often!😂 I love the transformation though!👍🏻 I've carbon mirror caps to go on too, but waiting to fix my dodgy folding mirror 1st (another vid🙈) Thank you for subscribing and dropping a comment 😊👍🏻

@@NorthCoastWorkshop so i saw on map im in perth so i see rain more than sun you could say 😂😂😂 but i have a black leon 1.6tdi 2012 absolutely love it its my second car ive owned and i spoke to josh and he can do colour in the carbon so that has definitely tempted me a little 😂😂 but his prices are really good for the quality of the work

Wrapping it with vinyl?? Yeah I'd recommend taking the trim off 1st so you can get it around the edges properly. I imagine it'd be quite fiddly working on it while it's on the dash.

Hello, I saw you have some sort of green clips around the first trim you pulled off, could you tell me were I can find them because my trim doesnt lock properly, thank you and very nice car.

Hi, thank you, and as for the small clips I'm not sure where u can get them from. Mine have always been there from factory, and yes they hold in the trim firmly. A Seat car dealership may be able to help you with sourcing them? I wouldn't even know what to call them to search for on the internet, sorry.

JH Hydros is based in the UK, yes. If you cover delivery costs I'm sure he'd do it for you, but I imagine shipping/delivery costs would be expensive 💰💰💰😬

Yep, the time is through the MFD, using the steering controls and find the date/time setting on the instrument cluster. The house address/home address is on the sat nav menu (not the map) press the 'setup' shortcut button, scroll down and home address should be at the bottom, then edit it from there 👍🏻
