Hydrofoiling Transitions: Heel to Toe - Ticket to Glide EP 03

Welcome to Ticket to Glide! Your one-way ticket to mastering any and every Hydrofoiling trick.
For episode three, we'll cover the first transition you should learn as a foilboarder. The Heel to toe and the Toe to heel. This is the most simple of the transitions.
It's not a far cry from kiteboarding, and does not require any advanced footwork or ducking under the lines.
Moving forward expect a whole playlist devoted to different transitions to learn from beginner to advanced.

What a great video ! I am at this level...learning how to change directions and keep it moving. I haven´t even tried to ride switch stance, I'm still afraid of that. I can change to toe side but I can´t deal with it for long, due to the speed ... lots of falls! Next step could be trying to ride switch behind the Jet ski and this may give me self-confidence. thankssss

What kite is that? RPM or SST? Will my Rally’s do the job for learning to foil?

Hey Simon, I'm flying the SST and Drifter in this video depending on the shot. The Rally will be good for learning to foil. The SST and other surf kites turn a bit faster, deliver power more smoothly, and drift downwind for ease of use. So they are just a little better. -Tucker
