I've read that a computer controller is needed to manipulate the O2 sensors so they don't tell the main PCM to send more fuel to the engine. I'm surprised you did have a gain in MPG so I'd be curious if you use an O2 sensor with your system you should see even better results! Great video and nice to see a young man do something productive instead of joining gangs or selling drugs or being stuck at home playing video games bravo 👏👏

Pretty much all cars are different my 96 Toyota Tacoma still has a distributor in it and it also has two O2 sensors and it runs off of OBD2 when I was running hydrogen I didn't have any codes shown besides an EGR code but that's because I had the EGR deleted after I got rid of the hydrogen and turboed my truck I had to make a complete custom exhaust system for it in that process I took the secondary O2 sensor and spaced it away from the exhaust system by about 2 inches because I remove the Cadillac converter and the 202 sensors need to see a difference in flow so it can trick computer to thinking they're still a Cadillac converter there just think Cadillac converter on the front side of the Cadillac converter O2 sensor 1 sees lots of flow and pressure on the backside of a Cadillac converter it's a much smoother flow so O2 sensor number two needs to see less and that pretty much goes for all OBD2 Vehicles if you want to get rid of your catalytic converter you must put an extension on your secondary O2 sensor so you can trick your computer into thinking that the cat is still there vehicles that have wideband AFR sensors like newer Hondas I'm not sure if this is still possible

And also just so we're completely clear I had a relay and switch wired in so I could turn my injectors off after I got the truck started I would start the truck on gasoline let it run and warm up turn my hydrogen on the truck would rev a little bit more because it was sucking on hydrogen and was being delivered gasoline I would then turn the gasoline off I only use gas to start my truck because it is extremely hard to start a vehicle off of hydrogen once the vehicle is already running you're pretty much good to go but if you try to start a vehicle off of straight hydrogen more than likely the engine will backfire and all it takes is one backfire to grenade your entire hydrogen fuel cell happened to me a handful of times then I Incorporated the double bubble tank and instead of blowing my cell up it would pop the double bubble tank which was a lot easier to replace

Years ago in built on of these only 3 times bigger, and i drive a ford explorer, it worked great, on highway it would get 30% more mileage, and in city i would get 20% more mileage, it was worth building and putting in, i do have advice, the hose you have coming out and going to the intake, make it go into a canister or bottle about middle way up and have hose coming out of it at the top go to intake. The reasoning is, that if at any point moisture gets sucked threw it will drop off into before it can get sucked into the intake.

I use a ac to dc welder for my power supply 110v at 40 amps I got the welder from Home Depot online it's called a metal man it's tiny I also use a thousand watt car inverter to go from the Cars 12 volt to 110 AC I then plug my welder into that and that is my power supply I use a wet cell consisting of 50 positive and 50 negative plates inside a 5-gallon gas can the plates are 14 × 14inche and about 2 mil thick ... I'm basically just size my intake down to about an inch and a quarter PVC pipe ran that to the back of my truck and it ties into the 5-gallon gas can I also adapted 2 1inch one-way valve to the gas can it's basically a draw through system truck is a 96 Toyota Tacoma with a 4-cylinder that runs off of hydrogen ....I do start my truck off gas but after it's running I turn my injectors of ...it's definitely less powerful but it's cheaper than gas but I do have to clean the cell every know and then I use about 40 gallons of gas a year

@joemason9187 truck had 328k on it and started knocking ... I took the oil pan of to replace the rod bearing but it turned out to be the wrist pin and a used engine is like 3k after shipping and taxes so I've been in a rock and a hard place with it lately

wow! 40 gallons of gas that's amazing bro! 👏👏 by the way how do you get passed the O2 sensors? I've read that if the main CPM reads more oxigen going in , it will send more fuel to the engine or does your truck have a carburetor?

I would also like to know if you turn off your injectors by accessing the fuse box of the vehicle or do you identify the wires connected and splice them and wire a rocker or toggle switch to operate from the inside of the car?

Nice video and test, except this is not Hydrogen Fuel Cell, this is an electrolyser, aka HHO generator, or HHO cell. And also, you must travel at longer distance for accurate results.

This test is inconclusive. 1st off, you need to do a round trip so you can not only refuel with the same fuel pump, but also account for elevation changes and wind on that trip. Doing a one way fill up wont ever give you accurate results as you could have a head wind in one direction, fill up, and a tail wind going in the other way.

You proved your concept. Now make it professional. Make it pretty. Properly record your pre and post mileage. As has been mentioned this is an electrolysis system not a fuel cell. Change that or people will criticize you. How will you keep it from running dry? How long before the electrolyte tank is empty? Good job:)
