High ppm doesn’t mean bad water. Just depends what’s in it.

How long would it take to make 15-20 gallons of clean water with this unit?

40 mins may be less, but it takes a while,

Mine is a stealth RO 300 also, but doesn't have a valve on the back to increase pressure like that. Do I need to buy a RO booster pump?
@tombryant45184 жыл бұрын
There is no valve to increase the pressure. He was just flushing it out and not filtering anything, so once you start filtering, the pressure goes up as water is forced through the filters.

Quick queston bro. Did this come with a way to make the incoming water line 1/4 and not 1/2? Like a 1/2 to 1/4 inline reducer or something?
@hermitsgrotto38127 жыл бұрын
comes with 3/8 intake line no 1/2 inch, all other filter lines are 1/4

Can you also drink that water
@papatutti596 жыл бұрын
The real question is, should you drink RO water. The answer is: you shouldn't drink RO water as a regular form of hydration. It is acidic and natural water is alkaline. Acidic water will, despite what the guys say that are selling RO home water systems, leach minerals from your body. Removing the naturally occurring minerals also leaves the water tasteless. Many people thus have to add liquid minerals to their R.O. water to improve the taste.
@hermitsgrotto38126 жыл бұрын
yes but if you mix 50 percent RO water and 50 percent tap water its a win in my opinion.

Man you guys have 70psi thru the fu*king tap , that's fjcked I only have like 40 tops , my pressure drops and raises, from 25 to 50 but usually a steady 40, I'll be investing in a pump , but not for the tap , I'll be pulling rain water from a 50 gallon barrel like I mentioned below .
