I have sensory issues so I struggle with dental care. One thing that helped this year was finding a flavor of toothpaste and mouthwash that I like. I even bought childrens bubble gum flavored mouthwash and toothpaste. I ended up mixing the bubble gum flavored mouthwash with therabreath, and using a little bit of the hello mint toothpaste with a little bit of the children's bubble gum toothpaste. And since then I've been brushing my teeth everyday.

Maybe try a water flosser. Water flossers are more effective too than the string or toothpick ones. I have a skinny one, not the one that has practically a tub to fill with water. I hope this helps. It sounds frustrating to have sensory issues.

Love the double cleansing tip. For anybody interested in trying probiotics, please do your research on them before buying whatever you see online or at the store. These are live bacteria that serve different purposes, and depending on your personal digestive needs, 1 type of probiotic might not be the best choice for you, while another might be great. Please just do some research on these or maybe talk to your doctor or dietician first 😊 I have IBS and some other stomach issues as well, and I tried a couple different probiotics recommended by my gastroenterologist. The first one actually made me feel WORSE than normal. The second one was ok. Everybody’s dietary needs are unique ❤

I’m really glad to hear that Hello toothpaste is on your list of products you like. I haven’t used fluoride toothpaste in a long time but I just heard that sodium laurel sulfate is an ingredient we should avoid. That’s when I discovered Hello. It doesn’t have SLS and it even brags about it. I’m really glad I switched.

If you guys can stand the taste (it is pretty bad ngl) coconut (mct oil) + a dash of baking soda + a tiny few drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide - use this paste gently with an electric toothbrush and floss pick regularly. Wow my teeth have whitened plus they’ve never felt so clean - it’s essentially similar to oil pulling but your actually applying pressure with a brush which really gives it the chance to latch onto any grime in your mouth and scrub it away. Please always be gentle with your gumline and DO NOT overdo the baking soda or hydrogen peroxide!!! You will damage your gums! Also you can apply this paste on your tongue to really clean that as well. Pro tip, grab some 3% hydrogen peroxide (please make sure it’s 3% and no more! ⚠️⚠️🙏🏽💀❤️) onto a q tip and you can apply it onto your teeth or any particularly yellow parts for whitening. You can also apply it to your tongue if you suffer from candida (white tongue) or just bad breath. But do not do this step continuously as you need to ensure a healthy micro biome in your mouth! If your doing all this continually and still suffering from bad breath you’re either mouth breathing, need to change something in your diet or you need to rebuild a healthy micriobime (probiotics). Thanks for the tips Sara your skin is absolutely glowing! 🙌🏽✨✨

I found this brand called Duradry on target. I haven’t tried it yet but I will be buying it soon and will comment updates on if it works well! I sweat heavily even during winter,😅😂 so maybe it’ll help stop the extra sweat and the odor it causes so I can feel clean after taking a shower. 😭 I just know once I take one I’ll start sweating like crazy and it bothers me because I do everything I can to help with the sweating; it’s mostly my armpits, whether I have hair or none at all, 😭 nothing has helped me so far, not even degree or any other men deodorant. I’ve tried other women deodorant brands but so far no results. I can’t wait to purchase the Duradry and see what happens! Oh, another thing! This brand has it as a deodorant spray, a deodorant for morning purposes, Antiperspirant night gel to minimize sweating, Antiperspirant wipes for body, hands & feet, a deodorizing deep cleansing body wash, facial blotting rice paper sheets, and a body powder made with modified cornstarch for sweat defense and order! Lol sorry that was a lot just wanted to let people know if they were interested! 😅😂😭 Edit: I’ve been using a toner; letting it dry then applying an antidepressant deodorant then an antidepressant stick deodorant on top. It was helping before but then suddenly just doesn’t. Might be due to the seasons changing but it was working during the change of all seasons but now it’s not working during winter and summer 😂😭 any tips until I get the Duradry?? 😅
honestly im sooo tired of all this self care hygiene stuff its so overwhelming and there's always something new each day

I finally found a sunscreen that I love, it’s the ISDIN Eryfotona Tinted sunscreen. I am super oily so I hate how greasy sunscreens typically feel on my face, but I find that this one rubs in and dries down to an almost powdery feel. It’s a bit hard to explain but I love it because it doesn’t make me feel like a greaseball and provides some coverage over my acne :)
