If you pushed the handle down completely you don’t need channel locks. I have the same weed eater. Never had an issue.

@bobbystewart26052 жыл бұрын
No, unless it’s a 2 cycle mower. It will burn up. This particular trimmer take 50:1 I believe. If ur near like a Home Depot or lowes or something like tht, they make premix if you don’t want to mix it yourself. There are charts online for the ratios.

Maybe if you got the handle pushed down all the way, you wouldn't have to squeeze anything. 4:41. I just got through assembling my trimmer and the handle popped into place where I did not have to use channel locks. If you put that handle on right it would have been at an angle. I agree with you, mine is pretty heavy too. I have the angled one. But I did learn a little from your video.

Hey i have a question, so i have a Hyper Tough 2 Cycle 26cc 18" Straight Shaft Trimmer but its calling for 50:1 but i normally use 40:1 is that okay if i use the same one. Its from tru fuel the canned fuel mixed with oil in it. Im just wondering cause my old hyper tough cyrved shaft weed eater 25cc used 40:1 from tru fuel which im guessing. Any thoughts or advice Btw what happend to your old hyper tough curved shaft 225cc ?
@JonsDailyHustle4 ай бұрын
I would only run as recommended. I would only put 50:1 in it if your want it to last. Thanks for watching More videos coming very very soon 😁

Just got mine in the mail today and assembled it based on ur video. One thing i noticed is you didnt have the handle sitting down on the shaft fully when tryin to put the wingnut on. Also ordered an adapter and a brush cutting blade that looks like a circ saw blade so curious to see if the adapter works.

@Norma Alvarez that's weird, maybe try a few things Make sure it has fresh fuel that's properly mixed 50-1 ratio, check that everything is connected such as spark plug, wires ect, try following the instructions again and see if that would help, maybe even take the air filter out just to make sure it's not being blocked

I got one but question what if the head doesn't spin
@JonsDailyHustle3 жыл бұрын
I'd say you might not have the head and shaft all the way down, when you go to install it it will slide down fully, you might have to spin the head with your hand while you push the shift down, then it aligns the shafts correctly and will go down, then tighten your two bolts
@latengocomoburro3 жыл бұрын
4:35 This made me laugh. Really?? I am not a pro and even I knew you have to push the handle all the way down so that it touches the shaft first so that the screw will fit *GOOD PRO TIP, KEEP IT UP* 🤣🤣🤣 hope you did not break that handle.
