100-200km/h of 7.04 seconds for the P1, finishing the 1/4 mile at 205km/h (127mph). 100-200km/h of 4.31 seconds for the P1 GTR, finishing the 1/4 mile at 240km/h (149mph). Looking at the stats, it does show there could’ve been an issue with the P1. Yes the P1 GTR should be quicker but that was bus lengths. The difference in trap speeds is also quite huge, one of 22mph (35km/h). I’d expect (estimated guess) a difference of about 7-12mph max in the 1/4 mile. Still though, awesome to watch?

p1 gtr is on wet tyres, so could go faster on prepped track. alot of gravel on that road.

@@Chris-hw4mq Dragtimes brooks managed 10.1 sec @149 mph on a dusty street surface as well with a extra passanger that's on first ever try on cold tires as well This McLaren P1 can do much better more like 9.8 seconds @150 mph quarter mile with warm tires and a good surface On drag strip or Prepped surface this McLaren P1 can actually do 9.2,9.3 seconds quarter mile @152 mph Just like the 765LT does Actually P1 is faster than 765LT

Alborz won because he let the car shift itself. Paul was paddle shifting it manually which is always going to be slower Vs letting the car row its own gears.

Also the race versions tend to have much more downforce and are generally slower in 0-100 race. They will destroy the street versions on the track though.
