The worst is when I start sweating and people point out the fact that I'm sweating then I start sweating even more until I go and sit in my car with the ac blasting texting my wife that I want to go home. I just got prescribed glycopyrrolate. I hope it works Update. The pills work pretty well. The side effects are really uncomfortable. You feel extremely dehydrated until the pills wear off. However, to me, it's worth feeling like that compared to being wet and embarrassed. I'm not bone dry but it's a huge improvement

Sir, You are suffering from Hyperhidrosis, which is a medical condition. I can suggest to you some of the treatments for your benifit. Number 1:- For Underarms excessive sweat or odour, Miradry is the best and most permanent treatment in the world. Number 2:- ETS surgery for your whole body. You get information first about ETS and go for the treatment. 3rd You can go for a botox treatment, but it seems to be temporary.

I too suffer greatly from this. Sweat pours down my scalp, face, and arms. The only time I don't sweat excessively is only if I am directly in front of very cold air conditioning, or inside a freezing walk in cooler. This condition is embarrassing, it has destroyed my self confidence, and has affected my life in an extremely negative way. Scalp and facial hyperhidrosis is the worst because your face is the first thing that people see.

@stevenl13463 жыл бұрын
As someone who had hyperhydrosis, I can totally relate. I tried everything and just like you was ready to accept it. But then I found out that there was a surgical procedure to stop the sweating.. I called the specialist and he said it cost $5000 USD each side. My heart just sank. That meant I'd have to fly to the US for the because I was Canadian on top of paying for the operation. Luckily he had a friend in Canada too that just so happened to specialize in this operation as well. On top of this great news, our health care covers the cost these surgeries since its not cosmetic in nature. The doctor explained there would be an incision made under the armpit to clip the nerve that causes the excessive hand and feet sweeting. This way, if the side effects were too much to handle, they can remove the clips and we would be back to the way it was. Before it was non reversible since they cut the nerve. When the surgery was complete. I had dry hand for the first time in my life. My side effects were mild. I sweated more on my chest BUT it would stop. I did this operation when I turned 18. I'm now 45. Best decision of my life and no regrets whatsoever. If anyone was to ask if to get surgery...I say go for it!

@@stevenl1346 I’m also from west coast Canada and had same surgery around 2004. I believe my procedure was to cut the nerve rather than clipping. I was extremely happy then, but as you experienced, I had compensatory hyperhidrosis in my chest area as well as my back. The effect was tolerable then, but after 18 years, it’s got worsened. I basically traded my upper body for my hands. The amount of compensatory hyperhidrosis is case by case and varies a lot and anyone considering should take serious consideration. By the way, my family doctor just told me that the medical doctors stopped performing this procedure for some time now, not sure why though. I personally didn’t explore any other treatment prior the surgery and i wish i did. In some ways, I have a little regret of not trying all other treatments.

Is surgical method for removing sweat glands safe for future,,?
@stevenl13462 жыл бұрын
@@shayandutta3 ETS surgery does not remove any sweat glands. All that's happening is the vein that's responsible for sweaty hands and feet are clipped thus blocks the signal that causes them to sweat. You might have side effects that cause you to sweat elsewhere. Thus is the side effects are too much for you to hand, you can remove them and you are back to how you were pre operation. There is only a couple of weeks to revert back however since the clipped vein will die off on its own after that period of time.

But I read on internet that there medication as well as surgery for the treatment of hyperhidrosis. Surgery is the permanent solution where they block those nerve supplies which initiate sweating resulting permanent blockage of sweat glands i.e you won't sweat from that part or in medication there are kinda injectable things which can suppress the neuro transmitter and stop the sweating for specific time like day or months.

i started developing this due to anxiety and i’ve had it for a long time since 2018. i usually sweat a lot at my armpits. it gets super annoying and it makes me feel like i need to excessively take showers. i try so many deodorants, mostly antiperspirants. none seem to work for sweat or odor. and i have to constantly change my deodorant as well. i’m currently using a gel deodorant and it works a lot more better than regular ones. i also used to take extremely steaming hot showers. i didn’t realize that it made me sweat more and then i started taking cold showers. not too cold. it works a lot more better and i don’t sweat as soon as i get out of the shower.i also shave my armpit hairs so that odor can’t build up. it’s so annoying because i can’t wear certain shirts without any sweat stains coming through. i shower 2 times a day and i have a normal diet. i could be feeling completely comfortable and normal and i would just start sweating out of no where. really hate this problem and i try my best to prevent it. edit: it has been a month and my hygiene has been getting so much better. the current deodorant i am using is the secret coconut scented one. it’s aluminum free which is a very great thing. it works wonderfully and it masks the smell very well although i’m still sweating. i’ve also noticed the sweating is not only in my armpits but also in my inner thighs as well which causes a smell. i know it’s very embarrassing to talk about but i’ve been taking multiple showers 4 times a day because of this issue. i put deodorant there and it works very well but i start to become anxious everytime i sweat there because i hate when i stink. the last thing i wanna be is stinky!! it makes me extremely self conscious. by the way, i am 13 and sooo tired of living with sweaty armpits and thighs. i hope i don’t have to live with this my entire life cause it’s hell!!!! jealous of the people who rarely sweat🙁

I hate having to be partners with anybody in contact sports, its soo embarrassing. I cant play pool, I cant wear sandals or slides, or play video games on a controller, I had to wear gloves to school dances. I have secondary hyperhidrosis. Truly is the worst feeling to the point I wanted to cry for how insecure I am to even to go out. I've developed a feeling of hating going out, even when my friends invited me unless it's not filled with many people and air conditioned. I can't stand sweating like a water tank, I've always avoided walking to my college since its 15 mins walking and I don't want to sweat like crazy, so I always take uber. I went to see doctor and he said there's no cure, its just genetic. If so I dont know how long i can take this condition anymore, its so stressing when going out

Having hyperhidrosis haven't actually made my life miserable. Yes, it can be annoying at times when I go to important events, but it actually helped me keep in shape. For example, I'd be overweight for 5-6 months because I'm usually lazy, but when I finally decide to workout again, I'd get to my target weight in only 1-2 months. And if I actually made a habit of exercising everyday even if I'm eating large amounts of food, I can still maintain my figure and weight because of the amount of sweat that I could produce in a day. So, this condition really helped me a lot in keeping my body strong and healthy.
@blinkenschnaag7779 ай бұрын
Well, that's kind of how it worked for me, too. I don't easily gain weight after eating a lot (because I sweat too much). Yes, my muscular body is still in good shape even though I rarely do workouts. It's just annoying to frequently have clammy skin or obviously flooding sweat all over the body.

Just trying to be confident and talking to a woman, then suddenly sweat everywhere. People just dont know how nice it would be, too not have the world know your nervous, then you try to hide and get out the situation, can't hide. So the sweating gets worse. Having someone see you lose all your confidence in the most embarassing way just sucks. Sometimes I cant even look in the mirror. Sir, You are suffering from hyperhidrosis. It is a medical condition. For this, you need to consult with a doctor so they can help you. Let me give you some information about the treatment. Number 1:- If you excessively sweating from the underarm or you have odour trouble as well, then you can go for Miradry Treatment which is 100% safe and secure treatment. No pain, No side effects, Non-surgical, Immediate result after the treatment itself and permanent for life long. Miradry has only one clinic in India, One is in New Delhi, India in the name of The Skin Temple Global Aesthetics (Miradry) and Number 2: is ETS surgery. for this treatment, you need to speak ETS surgeon and he will help you out. Number 3: is Botox. I have no idea if botox works on the whole body. As such it is a temporary treatment.

Everyone talks about having it in the hands, feet, underarms ect but what about whole body cos bro I have it in my ENTIRE body and it affects my body temperature in the worst of ways, I'm constantly too hot or too cold and sweat from every crevice of my body that has skin, face, head, underarms hands feet back chest legs thighs my hands drip my feet skin peels cos it's constantly wet and I can never escape it no matter what I do I sweat and sweat and sweat, it's incredibly overwhelming and hard to work especially in winter because it makes me feel like I'm dying of hypothermia, I'm constantly too hot or too cold (more so cold) so cold that my arm hairs have grown out to keep me warm and no matter how much I bathe or try to fix it it doesn't help, I heard rosemary and sage pills (or vitiman b1) are supposed to help but I haven't tried cos I can't afford them, I heard botox injections can help but again I can't afford them and I keep putting off getting a job cos it's incredibly hard to work when everything I touch literally disintegrates and I'm too cold and wet from sweat to get out of bed, my mom had it but hers wasn't full body and temperature controlling like mine and I'm so sick and tired of dealing with it constantly every single day, there's not much I can really do so idk why I'm writing but ig I can just vent cos no one in my life wants to hear how bad it is cos they constantly hear it, but I'm suffering and the only thing I can do is either complain everyone's ear off or shut up and deal with it, it's so bad I contemplate kms sometimes just to escape it but I can't do that so idk, I wanna try to get medical benefits so I don't have to work cos it's so fucking difficult but since I'm young idk if I'll be able to qualify but even just living is so hard, my clothes get soaked, my sheets to my blankets my feet I already said but they're not in good shape, I just don't know what to do anymore I feel stuck and trapped, sorry about the rant but I'm just so sick of constantly feeling like I've just come in from soaking in the rain but every minute of every day, it's overwhelming and exhausting but oh well ig

I found over the years mine has increased in severity (now being the most i've ever sweat all over) but if I take the medication the morning of any stressful event I find it stops the sweating for a period of time so I'm not extremely overwhelmed at the event or whatever i'm doing. Hope this helps! Also try drysol. I've used it under my arms for a week straight once at night and it really seemed to help cut down on the underarm sweat for a couple weeks!

@hamad7185 It sounds like you're caught in a frustrating cycle of anxiety and hyperhidrosis. When anxiety triggers sweating, it can create even more stress, amplifying the issue. Trying to manage your anxiety through relaxation techniques like deep breathing or mindfulness could help reduce the sweating. For the physical symptoms, it may be worth discussing treatments for hyperhidrosis with a doctor, and they can also suggest ways to manage the cold sensation without aggravating your runny nose.

Sir, I have no idea what exactly you are facing, If you are facing excessive sweating from your body, I can suggest you some treatment-related to reduce the excessive sweating from your body and that depends on you whether you need to get the treatment or not. Number 1: If you are excessive sweating from your underarms and you have odour too, then Miradry is the best treatment. Give you an immediate result, no side effects, painless, non-surgical, and permanent for life long. Number 2: If you have excessive from different parts of your body, then you can consult with an ETS surgeon. Number 3: If you are excessive sweating from hand palms and Feet Palms then you can look into botox, but it might be a temporary treatment. Rest hacks and remedies don't work and it will put you in deep trouble. so be smart and get the treatment in the right way.

i'm a dental student who suffers from excessive sweating and it just affects my performance everytime there's hands-on activities. my body gets so wet but mostly the problem comes from my palms. sure, we use gloves but it's so uncomfortable when my hands get damp underneath. also it doesn't help the fact that i live in a tropical country. now I worry if I had to work in the future😢

Excessive sweating, especially in the palms, can significantly impact daily activities, but there are effective treatments available such as antiperspirants, medications, and even procedures like iontophoresis or Botox injections; consulting with a healthcare professional can help determine the best approach for managing this condition.

I have this on my hands and feet it gets so bad I can’t write or type or really go anywhere without picking up a crap ton of dust on my feet I get heat rash on my feet mostly but hands sometimes too I have had a heat rash for I want to say 2-3 years straight now? I’ve had it since I can remember I don’t think I just got it I was born with it so I’ve gotten used to it. My hands and feet are almost paper like they’re wrinkly and look like they belong to someone at least 70 could this be a reason perhaps? I love to play games on my computer and play piano but often I can’t because my hands are dripping it’s everyday I reckon in a 24 hour period in the winter there is at most 5 hours where they aren’t sweating (this is for my feet as well) whereas in the summer when I am awake it often doesn’t stop all day maybe for an hour or so when I am less stressed from the heat and just the heat but from the moment I wake up the the moment I go to sleep they don’t stop sweating I can’t hold hands with anyone or do anything that involves my hands or feet being out properly it’s also quite bad on my armpits no deodorant yet has worked to stop it it always just leaks through my clothes is this serious? I’ve been taking medication (oxybutynin) I guess I’ll have to wait and see if they work. If you have any tips to make it easier please share them

I have this hyperhidrosis since when I was young and it makes me shy to socialize with people. I'm struggling and suffering especially when I'm gonna drive 😢😢 Also when there's family gathering in my husband's side the reason why I don't really talk or go with them it's because I feel so embarrassed of my sweaty hands, feet, and armpit 😢 can anyone suggests what kind of treatment should be done?
@MedicalCentric2 ай бұрын
@RiderandKitty Hyperhidrosis can be incredibly challenging, especially when it affects social interactions and daily activities. Treatments like prescription-strength antiperspirants, medications (such as anticholinergics to reduce sweat production), iontophoresis (using mild electrical currents), and even Botox injections can help control sweating. In severe cases, a minor surgery called sympathectomy may be considered. Consulting with a dermatologist can help you find the right treatment option to regain your confidence and comfort. You're not alone, and there are effective options to help manage this condition. 💪💙

It's understandable that conditions like hyperhidrosis can make individuals feel isolated, but it's essential to recognize that you're not alone in experiencing this. Hyperhidrosis, characterized by excessive sweating, is a common condition that affects many people worldwide. While it can be challenging, connecting with others who share similar experiences or seeking support from healthcare professionals can provide valuable insights and coping strategies. Remember, acknowledging and addressing such concerns is a positive step toward managing the condition and finding a supportive community.
