Hyperkin Wii HDMI review

Even though it wasn't as good as mid-90's gaming, the period from 2006-2007 was awesome. Probably my second favorite era of video games. Wii, Guitar Hero, Portal/HL, Bioshock, so many killer games and peripherals in that time.

Actually I should include 2005 in there too, just to include F.E.A.R., Half Life 2, Far Cry, Doom 3. I didn't play them until 2005. That was peak PC gaming for me.

Oh man, I could write a college thesis about this fabled time about when I should have been in college writing a thesis. Doom 3 was our first glimpse into HD gaming. The wii browser with allucdotorg and KZbin was the beginning of streaming. Xbox 360 had the first Netflix app. Digital games, virtual console, online gaming. Portal showed how games didn’t have to follow the same rules anymore. It was a revolution. Wiis code name was revolution.
