Pretty solid bench. I kinda feel like if you were crazy strong on bench, the mass you would have accumulated on your upper body from getting strong on bench might actually have a negative impact on your jumping ability. Just my thoughts.

@@laimai6103 Think about it friend. Let's say you bench in the 300s. That usually calls for a developed back and chest, as well as shoulders. All these things assist in a jump to some degree, but after a certain mass increase the tradeoff becomes unfavorable. That's why you nevee see a guy squatting. You're better off leaner and lighter amd having maws in the areas you need need the most. Massive arns would just be unnecessary weight.

@jubbice5040 Im 195 at 5'10 and I can dunk standing underneath the rim. Bigger muscles = More strength and power production. Tyreek Hill is 5'8 190 with the fastest 40 time and 40 inch standing vertifal.

Maybe a good way to improve your vert a tiny bit more would be to lose a lot of upper body mass (just train lats/shoulders explosively)?

Constricting the muscles of the Chest at the maximum height of jump will probably allow for the relaxation to occur and give the mind more room for thought rather than thinking that floating on air is being achieved: but this is just a basis for some physical derivative sought to be discoverable. Dunking and Weights won't match with me, but Push Ups are my choice for upper body. They are also good stretching technique. 💌🏀🔭💫💯🙏😇

The Chest is an area of heart, lungs, stomach, think I read somewhere would be good to leave between 1 or 2 inches reasonable distance between the chest and the bar for Better Longevity !
