6:24 - is something I wanna touch upon- Insane used to be my favorite mode to play skywars, fight took longer cause of the extra gear, the kits were more fun to play with, generally IMO a more fun experience and was my favorite way to play skywars. But everytime I have logged on to play skywars, I'm forced to play normal cause no one queues insane anymore, or even IF you get a insane mode game, I've noticed the players are generally MUCH better making each game is sweatier than it needs to be. It really feels like insane shouldn't even be a mode anymore. I've felt the same way about you on skywars for a long time now, lack of updates, balancing, skill based matchmaking (then removing ranked lol) It really just feels like a dead mode on hypixel waiting to be removed when it eventually stops making ANY money at all for hypixel. I'm happy to see you start uploading again, you're one of the favorite players/youtubers to watch, especially on skywars and can't wait to see you upload more

Just because it comparatively has less players it still has the 4th or 5th largest playerbase on hypixel. If hypixel is still making efforts to update cops & crims as well as warlords, I dont think we'll see hypixel skywars going anywhere for a while

Nice video please keep it up man. Here are some tips: Try to loot the first chest then rush to mid in normal mode. There are other good kits like farmer, pyro(if ur good with lava), Frog on certain maps, ecologist... Learn about jump resetting, it'll help a lot in taking less kb in modern pvp. Regarding the not being able to focus on the game while commentating issue, I've a silly suggestion; you can record yourself and put the recording on the game with mouse and keyboard sounds, that way it actually feels like you're commentating eventho you're not. In a nutshell, record a normal mouse and keyboard sound video but record yourself talking about something and slap it on the video.

I feel it’s the playerbase itself that’s killed skywars as a whole. It’s mostly newgen players now, a lot of these people being introduced to hypixel and PVP even before they have their time playing normal minecraft survival itself. People are now too focussed on mastering game mechanics and maxing out the capabilities of 1.8 pvp mechanics that the average player right now would probably be considered really good if you put them back in 2016 skywars. That’s the problem with staying on such an old game version for that long - both the fault of Hypixel for staying on 1.8 for that long, scared to change because of the conservative pvp community, and the fault of Mojang, for being so ignorant against such a large community

6:24 thats crazy that nobody q insane but its what i expected since last time i played skywars insane (overall skywars) was a year ago and back then it had barely 50 players on avg. I noticed in the video that people barely took kb. Are you living in europe or you just q at about 12 am? You probably can't record on lunar cause you aren't running OBS in administrator mode. For if u have it on ur taskbar, 1. Right click OBS 2. Right click "OBS Studio" 3. Click properties 4. Click "Compatibility" 5. Enable "Run this program as an administrator" (This will make it so it always runs in administrator mode, which also helps for other games) 6. Don't forget to apply. Something else you can check if you are using game capture and that u have the right game selected. This at least helped me out, hope it helps you too.
