Thank for sharing your experience with anxiety! I’m currently working on freeing myself from it with Marisa Peers self-hypnosis audios & next week I’m so blessed and grateful to be working with one of the best hypnotherapist in Australia! I’m so happy to hear hypnotherapy has aided in your journey! Hope to be as brave as you in the near future so that I can share my personal experience also x

Thanks for sharing your story Jess! Finding a treatment and doctor/therapist that suits you can be really tough & having a connection with the person you're talking to is so important - I even find it with my own GP because I get on with her so well I absolutely hate going to anyone else and speaking to someone about mental health problems is so much more difficult that the connection has to be there for it to be benefitial! Glad you're doing better, would love to see more updates like this from you if you're comfortable sharing ☺️ xx

I really understand your situation as I experienced it but even though it seems like it comes out of nowhere, but it really comes from your stressful thoughts and beliefs that you may not be even aware of. But the good news is you'll be fine if you change stressful mindset with the one that makes you calm. Pls let me know for any further information.

Hi Jess great video !! I have been suffering with anxiety and panic attacks since I was five years old ,, I can relate to everything you have said and probably even more .. I have had so many different coping mechanisms spiritually is the best and meditation really helps !! You are right it’s because your initiative as am I,, it should definitely be addressed as mental health is so important to help others .. as it can be very scary .. I have ocd as well with obsession thoughts mainly .. it’s because we have empathy that is why we have more sensitivity to depression anxiety and panic .. I wish and hope all the guidance for you good health to you and keep strong.

I lived in denial up until I was 23 zero progress into adulthood , could only overcome it through counselling it’s all about acknowledging and accepting both the past and the present, facing fears, identify triggers, and loving myself cause guess what no one is perfect, we are all just keeping things together ;) while enjoying the ride Realising that we need a little support to overcame an issue actually is a massive step into getting better :) so you already did amazing

Scary as it IS........ YOU WILL SURVIVE.........DONT PUSH the FEAR away........ what you RESIST ....PERSISTS........ Just LET IT COME! Surrender........& tell it have a seat ( like an annoying relative that will be staying for awhile)................ when anxious thought comes..... say HELLO & tell IT , I’m going on w/ my day, whether you are HERE or NOT....... KNOW matter how SCARED & miserable you are......... DO OPPOSITE of what your mind is telling you........ LIVE YOUR LIFE.....FORCE yourself......& also try to redirect your thought to something in the moment ( weather, what is it like........ some holiday is coming what do you want it to be like, etc.....) we create our OWN SUFFERING......... remember SITUATION is NOT what creates our suffering , it is our REACTION/ perception)..... I have health anxiety......... I always find some symptoms and think I’m dying. Been doing this all my life, guess what I’m still here, LOL. Instead of thinking it as an illness thank God or the universe, and say thank you for reminding me that my body is alive! Breathing exercises and self-awareness of different parts of your body is very helpful too. When you’re in a panic try and focus on something small like your big toe wiggle it feel it. Or rubbing a blanket between your fingers use your senses it’ll redirect your mind. I hope some of these tools help you. They have helped me several times. Mostly it’s practice and forcing yourself to do the opposite of what your mind and body are telling you to do. It’s called walking through the fear! And you can do it! Get mad!. EXERCISE IS THE BEST!!! even just walking...... also look up mind games, even just saying Math eQuetion‘s in your head will distract your mind out of that scary anxious mind loop. I do my multiplication tables or count backwards by two. Your mind cannot do both at once. And you will have a good days, and you will have bad days. But once you learn how to distract yourself until it fully goes away at least you have a few minutes of peace.... and when you do figure how to control your anxiety. Please, go onto forums like this , and share your recovery and tips and tricks with others! Everybody needs help. Even if I help one person to have a one good day that would make me happy !!!! sending love strength and peace and know you will make it through!❤️

I actually don't know what's going on with me. I think I suffered from this anxiety because I was overthinking about things going on my life.. I was constantly thinking that I was not in track of my life. i kept on worrying about everything happening in my life.. thinking I did this or that thing wrongor I should do that thing nicely.. In short I was not satisfied with my life..so I developed anxiety disorder.. After sometime I started thinking less about myself and focus on my things.. But due to anxiety I had developed chest pain and gastrointestinal problems so I then started fearing about my chest pain.. And it's so hard not to thing about my chest pain.. When I'm totally focused on something then I suddenly think about my chest pain it again start paining.. Almost whole day my chest is paining and my heartbeat starts beating fast and start having stomache. My immune system and digestive system is very weak now.. I am having loose motion and diarrhea. I don't understand how I can stop this.. It's interfering on my life.)):

I experienced that several months ago. At the time, I really wasn't sure what was wrong. Then I googled and found it could be from anxiety. I am not a doctor, though. Mine went away after a few days. I think I drank tea at the time to help sooth my throat. For anxiety I really recommend Ashwagandha tea. Scullcap is great, too. However, I use that only at night because it puts you to sleep. 8:12 I know exactly how you feel here. I agree, lack of routine when you're in the depths of an anxious period is HORRIBLE. Thank you for sharing your experience, Jess. I'm so glad you're feeling better. When you say you did 6 weeks of hypnotherapy sessions, were you doing one session per week? Were they one hour sessions? I've been feeling great anxiety relief from listening to hypnotherapy recordings for the past 9 months and want to go deeper with one on one sessions, though I am on a budget. I've read that six sessions is about the minimum needed to experience results. I'm wondering if that's what you found as well?
@tokyokacie
@tokyokacie 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexandra, I’m a hypnotherapist, and maybe I can answer your question. This very much depends on the client. Some clients may benefit from twice a week, (mostly addictions or more extreme situations) but I find that one session a week is great for many, because it gives the conscious mind time to really understand and apply your new subconscious beliefs. I am twice certified and both schools recommended about 6 sessions, though I will tell you from experience some people are fine with less and some people should have more. 6 is a pretty good average though to see immense changes in your life. If you consider that it takes most people 21 days to build a new habit, this makes sense. Your therapist can be there for you while you are learning to incorporate and apply your new beliefs. Most hypnotherapists have received a ton of hypnotherapy just because of the training (and if they didn’t, I wouldn’t recommend them) and they can tell you that it changed their lives and that’s why they chose to get certified. It’s not a panacea to all problems, but like any good therapy, it can change your life if you let it. Go in with an open mind and an open heart and make sure you trust your hypnotherapist and I’m sure you’ll have a great experience.

This sounds like ADHD to me, and unfortunately GPs don't have any training in that so they'd never suggest it could be that. Definitely recommend seeing a psychiatrist who's actually trained in ADHD who can access you and see if that's actually that and not anxiety. Also you talk REALLY fast which is a bit of a giveaway 😅 ADHDers are also highly intuitive and our brains work really fast, all the time, it can be quite exhausting.

I appreciate your comment but no, it’s not adhd. Talking fast is also accompanied with anxiety
