I JUST REALISED SOMETHING! While yes, there can't be 2 chosen heroes reborn at once, she does have the magical compass. And in mission 2 Darunia said to her "Thanks for the help, Brother!" ("Brother" is a title Gorons use for tribe members and close allies, including Link.) and then her compass started glowing. *The compass glows whenever there was a reference to the previous heroes.* What does this mean? Could she be a decendant of one of the heroes? Any thoughts, anyone?

Honestly, it kind of makes Linkle a bit of a cooler character, I think, and I'd really love to play as her in a future game. It'd be pretty cool. Well considering her compass is clearly connected to royal family in one way or another, and considering it was given to Linkle by her Grandmother... doesn't that explain Linkle's ability to some extent? Specifically I am assuming that Linkle's Grandmother was a cousin or perhaps a younger sister of the royal family who married beneath her noble status. Linkle's home is fairly large compared to the neighbors and her family seems to have a decent stretch of Land for her cuccos farm so I am assuming her grandmother being of royal blood means she is a descendant of the goddess Hylia by default was given some generous funds for her new life outside of royalty. (the woman in the hyrule family tend to have some degree of magical ability that was inherited from their divine ancestor, so it CAN, make sense that linkle is unconsiously using that power in her fights. due to her naivety, she believes her power is from being a reborn link. I love guessing things!

First of all, only the OoT Link is the Hero of Time. He has that title because he regularly traveled through time in order to fight Ganon. Second, all evidence points to the fact that the hero DOES have to be male. Because Zelda is the reincarnation of a Goddess, and Link is the reincarnation of the hero that she fell in love with. Their roles are set in stone, unless Nintendo decides otherwise in the future.

Glace Her name is Linkle because Link's Japanese name is actually Rinku, while Linkle's is Rinkuru. -uru is a common ending to feminine names in Japan, such as Kururu(Krile) from Final Fantasy V, Kukuru in Arc the Lad, Kaoru, Haru, etc.

Why don't they show Tom Cruise's character's conversation with Emily Blunt's character at the end of _Edge of Tomorrow?_ Because it would ruin the moment. In this case, the fun of Linkle's story is that it's a comedy. I only got this game to import the new characters into the superior Wii-U version, Expendable income FTW! The new3ds's "enemy on screen" count is pretty dire in comparison. Linkle wreaks so much havoc on Wii-U, I have managed over 3000 enemies in 7 minutes in one adventure mode map lol

Next Legend of Zelda game needs to give you an option of if you'd rather want to play as Link or Linkle! Link: Mainly uses swords and is great at close quarters combat, tankier Linkle: mainly uses ranged weaponry and is great at long range combat, more damage output 1+ for this to be a thing!
