If you think that Oregon blade is awesome, you should get a Brush Destructor blade. I do this commercially and its far superior to any brush cutter blade on the market. A little pricey but worth every penny. You'd be amazed what it will do on that big Hyundai.

Mate - that video is awesome. Subscribed to the channel on the back of it. Almost identical to my World, garden-wise, and was looking at the Hyundai anyway - this vid absolutely sealed it for me. The new equivalent is £220, and whilst I WANTED a Honda (Biker...... of a certain age) I've already fallen in love with my Hyundai air compressor - and this will be my next purchase. Dad was from Tipp (Clogheen), and most of my family are there. I'll always take an Irishman's advice over any other 😉. Nice one.

I had a Stihl Brush cutter. When the cord breaks you have to buy a module which is horribly expensive !!! And to replace the fuel pipes on my Husquavarna chain saw meant pulling the whole chainsaw to bits, the petrol pipe actually goes through the crankcase which is insane !!!! I now have a Hyundai electric chainsaw and a small Esme arborists petrol chainsaw. Its easy to replace the petrol pipes and the pull cord on the cheaper ones. Inside the machines are identical. You are paying a lot of money for the top brand names to be on the outer plastic case of your gardening equipment. Me, I prefer a good quality machine with a brand name I can trust. My Hyundai chainsaw is awesome an it looks fantastic !!!!! I also have a Titan electric chainsaw and I shan't be buying any more of the so called top brands again !!!

with some of the stuff yes i completely agree , but when it comes to bigger machines like chainsaws etc i think for something that you want to last a life time its best to stick with big named brands like husqvarna

Hi great review i was wondering how the honda compares to the hyundai after using both machines.Your thoughts would be much appreciated.Cheers Ian.
@WoolysWorld
@WoolysWorld 2 жыл бұрын
Great Question, i comes down to quality and longevity i think . the hyundai is a great machine, but the parts etc are not as good quality as the honda , both perform very well and after 4 years the hyundai was still going great but i did notice more and more repairs etc. ive only had the honda year so i hasn't had the same abuse as the hyundai . over all in the short term they are both the same, im hoping that the honda will be a machine for life , that was the biggest reason for the change. powerwise i dont see any difference, the honda is quieter

I've been increasingly surprised by the quality Hyundai offers for a relatively low price. Furthermore, if something happens, it is very easy and quick to get cheap replacement spare parts through specialized networks (like SWAP). The global design of their models looks roughly like cheap chinese ones, but their production standards and final quality and durability seem to be much higher (composition of the alloys ?, composition of the plastic pieces ?). I suspect Hyundai specs are above average. A very good compromise between overpriced hardware and low quality products which wear quickly and break without notice..

@pget8462

@@WoolysWorld Yes. I've been using a HDBT45 rather intensively for more than 3 years now, either on my estate or on the permacultural market garden of my daughter. Permaculture requires a lot a somewhat dried vegetal debris to enrich the soil, so that, most of the time, I use the brushcutter in 'mulching' mode to produce them from grass or leaves (with a three level 3 mm nylon threads head) which is much more power demanding than the simple 'cutting' mode. My HDBT never failed to provide tons of food for the eathworms and bacteria, and clean places for the humans. In return, I very much take care of it (gear box greasing, air filter cleaning, carburetor adjustments, cables oiling, ...), and it seems to work so far for both of us.
