S-Cross doesn't have the road presence of the other 2 but S-Cross 1.6 engine is way ahead when compared to Creta both in terms of performance and refinement. And it is feature packed and comes at a 3 lakh cheaper price when compared to the Creta.

Even maruti markets s cross as a crossover, its not an SUV by any stretch of imagination. No point comparing with duster AWD which is a great offroad vehicle but 85 ps duster can be compared to S cross 1.3. Creta is over rated. Apart from the sad front looks s cross is on par with the competition. 180 mm is more than enough for on road usage and i own a 1.6. Happy with my decision :)

Where as feature list goes... Duster does come with Leather seats as standard on RXZ 2 Wheel Drive, you can choose from either driver's side arm rest or Rear AC vent (you'll get one of the two standard) and duster has cruise control which is not available in any other car in this test. Renuka do you really think people buy these cars for city run about?? People do use these cars in city but i think majority of people those who buy these cars want go out of the town on weekends with family and driving on the highways Creata or S-cross is no where close to duster.

I don't much agree with the comment made on Duster with the position of secondary volume control and mirror adjust knob. They are easy to use once you are used to the vehicle. Ofcourse if you are driving it once in a month it will be an issue. I found the stock very acceptable with Duster and also in Lodgy.

In roads like Bangalore you don't really shift gears up. So in second gear S CROSS is easy to Drive. I agree, traffic is high in Bangalore, but somebody who is used to Bangalore traffic will maneuver easily. Scross is still great with its face uplift. Looks like BMW X1

Duster despite of the butch looks , is a great vehicle to have, other cars showed are more of big brothers of their earlier avatar! If Duster is offered in some competitive price with some features at par with other vehicles , would be a great choice to own one! I own a 2WD RXE variant , till now no complains apart from the internal features offered.

In midrange SUV segment creta is awesome, u feel ur driving a big vehicle where it is easier to handle, it has fully loaded features, Hyundai as good body built. Even duster is also good but u don't feel easy to drive as creta Coming to s cross first thing, it not looks like a SUV, it looks like a hatch back in a big size, Suzuki doesn't have good body built , Ford ecosport is also awesome vehicle but it is heavy maintenance than these three cars , it's again u should think of your budget to buy a car where you get fully loaded features and fun to drive......!! Drive safe .......!!😎

Review was good and comprehensive but you should have compared the two wheel drive version of the duster because compared to the AWD it has better midrange and top end performance and it is cheaper as well. But even then creta seems to have the qualities to be the winner

S-Cross has much more features as compared to Creta at same pricing. However Creta no doubt is fancier than others but Suzuki from inside is is really impressive. You cannot tell unless you test drive both. I was to buy Creta but a test drive of S-Cross swinged my decision.

Creta is simply superb...did a test drive of Duster and Creta... n i shud say..it is like day n night, creta outperforms Duster in almost all areas... the best is the the steering wheel..Creta extremely smooth... drive it and feel it !!!

Nice review... I took test drive for all mid range SUVs, which includes duster AWD, ecosport, scross, terrano but I liked CRETA the most and booked this. The only sad part is it will take one and a half month to deliver. Nice genuine review by auto car.

The waiting period of 2,3 or 4 months is very sad and the demand they create and increase makes them look few customers... I was even told by the Hyundai dealers that they don’t get stocks, as the manufacturing is slow…. Very sad !!!

This is the best comparison video I've seen. Honestly, I already own a creta and believe that it is the best that the price margin can offer. But of course if u want a full SUV feeling, the new Ford Endeavour(Everest) is the best choice, of course with an investment of 5-8 lacks in addition to the 20 lacks for these cars. If you still have the dilemma regarding these cars, I could guarantee you Creta is the best choice.

Do not confuse with segments. Ecosport, tuv300, brezza and wrv fall under sub 4 metre suv segment. Whereas duster is to be compared with creta and s cross although s cross is a crossover (price point). Duster has failed the crash test miserably. I doubt if the company has done anything about it. It has poor interiors and you have to deal with lousy service centres. Only good things are it's looks, decent engine and awesome ride quality. And it is severely overpriced. Honda diesels are noisy but very drivable and fuel efficient. Wrv has good suspension for bad roads but inspires no confidence on highways. Ecosport is definitely a great product with awesome build, features, dynamics, engine and looks. It's a bit cramped on rear space though. I would sincerely suggest considering s cross 1.3. It is priced closed to ecosport. Creta is also a good contender but overpriced and misses a lot of important features. My one year experince with the s cross 1.3 zeta variant has been fantastic. I would suggest test drive all cars on highways and bad roads. Take a TD of 1.6 s cross even if you don't buy one ;) From your list though, ecosport takes the Cake easily. You can get a good discount since the faclift is soon to be launched and dealers will have to clear current stocks.

Gourav Miglani I assume you are comparing S cross 1.3 vs Creta 1.4. Creta is a good vehicle but personally I feel it is over priced. S cross is far more value for money and feature packed. You miss a lot in creta like cruise control, sliding armrest, 60:40 rear seats, telescopic steering, all four wheels disc brakes etc. Safety features are standard in s cross. I believe it's the same for creta however s cross gets some extra features. Both fare decently in crash tests. S cross will Trump creta easily in fuel efficiency department. However Creta's engine is much more refined and has a 6 speed gear box compared to 5-speed on s cross. The touchscreen on the s cross is much more intuitive. Generally Hyundais are more expensive than Marutis to service. What sets the s cross truly apart is it's handling and suspension characteristics. You should drive both cars at high speeds to be able to understand what i am saying. Not that creta is unstable but s cross is far ahead. Take a good long test drive(city+bad roads+highways) on both cars and decide.

Duster AWD is the only SUV in all these 3....all these so called SUV are glorified hatchbacks..what`s in God`s name a SUV without 4WD ? As far as the mirror adjustment being hidden under hand break in duster.....How many times you have to adjust that...I have done that once in last 6 months !!! Go beat it !

chakri narasimha I have driven the Duster 110 PS AWD. It is not as quick as the S-Cross 1.6 but it has decent acceleration. Renault has sorted the infamous turbo-lag (found in the 2012-2014 Dusters) which has made the Duster quite enjoyable to drive in the city. Of course, the Duster's highway manners need no introduction. It is a long-distance cruiser.
