So true. If it’s 50-40 lakhs then sits totally worth it. Plus this is assembled in Sri Lanka, so it should be more affordable since there’s way less tax for knock down kits than wholly assembled cars. Remember those altos and wagonRs and other city cars went from 2,000,000-4,200,000 rupees before corona. So 80 Lakhs is very high even for Corolla.

@@bwkcbandara9122 don’t buy those kind of micro cars and micro MPVs especially those 660cc Japanese type. They are way out of standard. Buy an old car from the 2000s. They have general safety and they are more reliable due to build quality and less electronics. Try to find those Allion/bluebird sylphy or Honda city for a good price. Even old Benz from 90s are good. Just check for car history and condition. You don’t need to murder yourself in an uncomfortable and slow car with less room and comfort. Plus they flip on highways and they are unsuccessful for hill country drive (especially going to Kandy and nuwara eliya). These cars are crap even though we have no choice due to our stupid government and customs. Anything Yaris/belta and above are considered roadworthy cars. Don’t buy Honda N wgn. Go for an older yet good car.

If this had keyless entry and push start, the old Vitz would have had a hard time selling. But still think this is a good competitor considering a 5 year old, 80k mileage Vitz is selling for the same price as this brand new car.

Good value since its a 4 cylinder 1200 with conventional auto . A used vitz will also cost this much and it has an underpowered and noisy 3 cylinder 1000cc and a potentially unreliable cvt gear box. This has a far nicer 3:54 interior and more features too. But I am not sure of the safety rating !
