Not a shear bolt on jubilee Peter, little cap it is.... Normal hex / screwdriver head under it .. Great handy vlog, alot of these are mis diagnosed and people spend a fortune on egrs and silly stuff... Happy new year to all at Kennedy's, looking forward to another year of great videos... Funny enough that Kingbolen yoke showed exhaust back pressure (mbar) and we had the Topdon on it and it only showed voltage which is handy but nearly useless 🤔 Happy new year Anto 🙏🙏

That vehicle had done some mileage peter. If it's only clogged up after driving that far it's a good advert for them vehicles I think .

I find them to be a good yoke Chris, anytime you look under the bonnet of a Hyundai or Kia there is generally plenty of room, like an older Toyota 🤔🤔🤔

Egr valve are very common to fail on these, I have done a few. There not a bad little car to work on though, generally plenty of room to get at stuff 😉👍👍👍

Have you ever had a hyundai i40 in for constantly stalling while driving and what would be the first thing to look at ive heard the fuel filter is at the back of the ecu and an absolute whr to get at

The fuel filter is behind the ECU, but not too bad to change. Pull out the battery and ECU, 10 minutes or so and I gives lots more room. I have encountered crank sensors to fail intermittently on these causing similar issues. I have also had intake runner motors intermittently fail and pull the 5v reference to ground 🤔🤔🤔
