Hey I have a question, just took my 18 Elantra Sport DCT to the dealership for a coolant leak and replaced the heater hoses, but I still have a coolant leak in front of the lower engine mount, between the engine and transmission. There are NO leaks at the water pump, thermostat, water temperatures control assembly, radiator, heater hoses or the turbo cooling lines…only a leak where the engine meets the transmission. Where else do you think I should look? Head gasket, cracked cylinder block/head?

I would clean everything spotless, add coolant dye then you'll see exactly where is coming from

@@GicaPhp okay, the first time I took it to the dealership they put a dye into the engine and transmission, but not the coolant…not sure why not the coolant when it was a coolant leak. I used a UV light and I don’t see any engine or transmission leaks anywhere. I have another appointment tomorrow…maybe I’ll mention coolant dye to them…it’s definitely something internal…just not sure what.
