Thanks Damian, great and straight review. What a pleasure to get such frankness. I personally think EV's are just too heavy for the LFP and LiPo battery technology - the whole thing gets proportionally heavier to maintain an acceptable range. Diminishing law of returns kind of situation. For LFP and LiPo tech I would guess that the total vehicle weight should not be more than 1.5T. If/when solid state tech is viable and delivers over 500Wh/kg then cars the size of the Ioniq6 become practical.

Hi Ben, thanks for leaving a comment and I could not agree more. I look at current electric vehicles in the same way people looked at early diesel engines. They work for now but with further developement will become great in the future. The only problem there is that you need to support the current EVs to pay for the developement of the better ones...... looking forward to the future, thats for sure. Regards, Damian

@@DamianCandetti "...paying for development..." that is a valid point Damian. I think too that putting subtle pressure on manufacturers by preferring smaller EV's will also help get the balance right sooner.
