One heck of a charger, the regenerative braking is even more impressive, that is some juice, these batts must be high voltage.

Yes they are. I was thinking that it would be able for the new 150kw chargers that are coming this year. I think the battery's are high voltage.

to put such high load on such a small battery is just asking for trouble. They charge twice as fast as Teslas and regen 2-3x as fast as Teslas...

I could cope with a car that does 120 mile leaps... only getting half that in UK!

Hi Phil Atkinson it can reach even more I say if it was driven slower than I go I drive it @ 140 kph or 86 mph on the motor way. And i will get 180 km per charge.

As usual it is not wanted to produce a great EV. If Hyundai would have put a 45-55kw battery in there and charged 5 grand more they would have made a killer car. Yeah, Tesla Model 3 cool. But Hyundai would have done it already in 2016. With very fast charging.

I think what's important is that there are better and better options arriving. I'm waiting to see if the new leaf is a major improvement otherwise I'm in an Outlander PHEV. My preferred brand is Audi and if they put a 75kWh battery into an A6 then I'm sorted. You never know, a big deal might come in that bags me my Model X in Grey. Saw one in the wild on my way home from London yesterday... it's beautiful! I was so disappointed with Ioniq on EH. Heartbreaking...
