It’s slated to hit Indian roads by FY2027 and will be positioned to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Citroen C3, and Tata Nexon.
2️⃣ Key Features and Positioning: Priced in the Rs 10 lakh-15 lakh range, the new model will share many characteristics with the i20 and will likely share its engine options with the Venue. Positioned at the heart of the Indian passenger vehicle market, it will offer a distinctive alternative to Hyundai’s existing Venue SUV.
3️⃣ Production and Potential: Produced at Hyundai’s Sriperumbudur facility, this crossover is expected to contribute significantly to Hyundai’s SUV volumes, potentially adding up to 1 lakh units. This move will help maintain high-capacity utilization at the factory, with production of the all-new Venue shifting to Talegaon, Maharashtra, in 2025.
