I`ve had this car now for 3 months and I paused the review before I posted this review. Love this car so much very nice to drive and when you need speed the 200 bhp kicks in nice and goes like Apollo 11 leaving Earth orbit, I find sometimes there`s a 1000s lag on pulling off, ( Auto ) from junction if your trying to beat a Bus or other vehicle from a island but no major issues. Only other thing I don't like to safety stuff, like applying the car breaks unexpectedly when reversing from my drive and there`s a passing car on the other side of the road. ( but then a again it stopped me from hitting a post in Asda) All in all I very happy with this car.

Wait, Matt, why do you think the buttons in the RAV4 are scattered? That’s one of the most intuitively laid out interiors I’ve ever been it. It’s an Infotainment screen flanked by hard buttons for volume and tuning. Under that is all things HVAC related (including heated/cooled seats). Down by the gear shifter is the driving modes which also makes since. All the steering wheel buttons are simple and mimic most in the class and to the left of the steering are the controls for the autonomous driving aids/auto lighting elements. The RAV4 even gives you little shelves in the dash. It’s very very simple.

Why are you car journalists so obsessed with German build quality? We don't live in the 70s or the 80s, effin' nobody cares, man!

Because german build quality is good?
@McBeamer945 жыл бұрын
@@FriendlyNeighbourhoodSpidey I don't say it isn't, but I find it a bit too much exalting this particular thing, especially when those cars cost absurd amounts of money. There are more important things in a car that determine the final decision.

I agree. Quality is nice, but there's too much stress on it lately. It's like it's all that matters. You get cars like last-gen Ford or last-gen Mazda, where the money went into the drivetrain and chassis instead of the interior, and suddenly they're not good because you don't get soft touch whatever everywhere inside. Yet the Golf which is as dynamically capable as a brick gets praised just because the interior is right. I'll never understand this.
