Hi, love your channel.. not criticizing, just offering my experience- for 2015 Sonata non-hybrid with 2.4 GDI engine and auto trans, I was able to remove trans out the bottom. didn't have to remove front end, engine or subframe. there is plenty of room. only thing, it is very heavy so you need a crane or hoist to lower it down safely.

I'm an ASE master certified technician, and If you have a lift it's a lot easier to remove everything from the bottom by dropping the subframe, if you don't have a lift but do have a hoist, it's easier to remove the engine alone without having to remove the front cap. This is a lot of unnecessary work ...

Please I have a 2011 sonata with a GDI LIMITED engine. What is weird is that my car has steering wheel brake pads and two exhaust outlets like the Turbo version. I would like to know if I can change the engine, I will put a 2.0 T TURBO engine. Please answer me.
