I like your instruction video my brother but you have to show people the diagnosis leading up to that such as checking the fuses on the car things like that this way they have a full understanding as to why to change the fuel pump

Hyundai sonata 2018 se how I know there’s an issue with the fuel pump or the fuel high pressure pump in order for my car to start again. I had change battery, spark plugs, O2 sensor and the starter and alternator is good as well. But someone told me is a fuel pump but how do I know before I spend money on parts that I don’t need

Probably too late but if you go too start your car and it takes over 5 seconds of constant turn over but no start and then it starts it’s most likely pump failure. Or the car won’t start at all.

I lubed it with PB blaster and smacked it with a pry bar

There is a $20 tool that works with a ratchet that might work easier, but I have not received it to try it

Hello, I have a question. My car needs a new high-pressure fuel pump and a high-pressure line. I am taking it to Midas and they are charging me $1899 for the whole thing. Is this a legit price or am I being ripped off? I can give more information if needed.

@Peeps510 Yeah, I ended up calling Hyundai, and they said the part would only cost me around $630. They also said the reason Midas was charging me so much was probably because they up charged the price by a lot. I'm never letting Midas touch my car again other than for a simple oil change.
