Hyundai Sonata reduced power (limp) mode!! you won't believe the reason!

I have the same problem with my 2014 after a throttle body service. How did you retread the cable back with the pick tool?

The connector was damaged by previous technician by spreading terminals. I just restored the terminals tension

@@Usmanthemecano I took apart mine and cleaned and reset it and I’m still getting this code along with limp mode. I’m just about to take it to the mechanic. Resetting it doesn’t work same with trying to reset my throttle sensor. It might be a bad throttle body.

Looking for a video to see about my 2012 hyundai. No dash board warnings but I did get some codes no codes for transmission engine or no reads for the alternator. Cant go over 40/45 without it going limp.

Really weird - 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T - 3 times so far, i start my car no issues, go to drive and no dashboard lights come on. I go to drive and cant surpass 40 kmph? Idk i read that maybe turbo boost pressure? but its so weird cause it ACTS as in limbo mode, and then i go turn it off/turn on AND its fixed? i dont get it especially no lights

No dash lights? That's different. Check for codes. Check for the can network issues

@@Usmanthemecano 0 lights. Ya my buddys scanner broke. Praying its a faulty sensor as theres 145km on the motor and pre sure that year had recalls forthe turbo engine, but ya. If i restart the car typically it fixes the issue, possible i let it sit too long in the morning or short on my way home? Happen today twice and once a few weeks ago so just a little sketched now, is it even worth it to go to a dealership cause 5 visits can prob buy your own scanner no? Im 20 and fairly new car owner so learning thanks!!

Hi I know it’s been over a year but did you ever figure out what it was? My car is doing the same thing just started 2 days ago. My lights are on the dash but no warning lights
