During hurricane Irma we were leaving and the state allowed people to travel on the shoulder to help with traffic. I was funny when the trucker's would pull over on the shoulder to stop the cars and trucks from going. We never drove over there and once we got off of I 75 getting back on wasn't fun. The gas stations were or had run out of gas. My wife had leave her Jeep in Okala and put our stuff in my truck along with our cats. Good thing my truck had four doors and more room for all of us

The Bridges to nowhere
@dskoi7358Ай бұрын
The “bridges” are called Fly-overs. It allows to two major roads and their service roads to intersect without impeding the other. Then there are fly-over bridges to allow you to change from one major road to the other. I believe the tallest is the intersection of I75 and I635 in Dallas. Called the High Five.

Fascinating! I wish that I went to college and got a degree in construction architecture! Then I could play on my phone for big bucks 😂😂😂

When I saw the title, I wondered if this was in San Antonio! Cool to see you in San Antonio though. I get to enjoy the “joy” of this (although not as a trucker, just a regular 4-wheeler anytime I’m on that side of town. I HATE it!

Note to self, don't trust the construction signs, and don't go to San Antonio for around the next 10 years. 😂

I lived and worked in San Antonio in the late 80's and they called 1604 the "Death Loop." It was only 2 lanes and had the most head-on accidents in the city. It was also WAY out in the country with hardly any buildings or businesses. Interesting how much it has grown since then.

WOW, I used to live right off of that exit. 556A in San Antonio when I was stationed at MEPS. That was in mid 90's. Wasn't as much there then as it is now. But still crappy traffic.

Hey just a question for Mr SloKev! How come he chose to run dry van and not flatbed? He seems like a go getter and pays a lot of attention to detail! Seems like he would be good at it!
