Unilever in Edwardsville used to have a scale on outbound side before you got to the gate. If overweight, they sent you back to a dock to have it corrected. Wouldn't let you leave overweight. Depended on which guard was on duty if you could get axle weights. Some would, some refused

@@markpage533 Rewatched the video and Kevin was reading the sign. “Slide tandems to 5 holes from back once you turn engine on.” But then it also said 15 seconds to get through the gate. So he hurried up. And…it does look like he then forgot to adjust tandems. Luckily he normally does it. But good catch on your part.

I had a load that had ta seal number on the BOL, but the seal wasn’t on the trailer doors. Went to the guard post and advised them, he told to just go ahead and leave. I said nope. Then he wanted me to open the trailer and look for the seal on the floor, again I responded, no. Finally after a few minutes he exited the building with a seal in his hand, different number than on my BOL. Made him send the BOL back to the shipping office and have it updated. Took me 30 extra minutes to get their mistake corrected.

Crete wants every loaded trailer scaled out no matter the weight. I pull finished paper products and weigh 10k to 15k and every load is scaled. If you think your load shifted rescale. If you’re legal but want to adjust your tandems scale again

cant figure out why some of you drivers when u crank the landing gear down you just dont let a few inches off ground and drop air bags instead like i saw you lower to ground and give 3 or 4 more cranks this makes it hard on next driver when he or she pu the trailer when its loaded with 40.000 plus no disrespect i just cant figure what the reason is some of you do this i pu a number of trailer where driver crank the landing gear too far and iam having to crank in low gear forever its always better to leave about 3 to 4 inches off ground and drop airbags
