Brian, I have to commend you on your video and editing skills! You do a fantastic job setting up your shots and seamless editing, choice of music and keeping the content engaging! I can appreciate how much time it takes for you to do all of this. I don't know why you don't have more subs, but they will come. Keep putting out quality content and you will find a larger audience. Thanks for the entertainment and the hard work that goes into it!
@LivinRVision4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Arnold! These comments are always so humbling and appreciated. We have been a bit confused on the subs also. I’ve been having continuous issues with some features on KZbin not working and nothing is ever done about it when contacting creator support at KZbin. It has been very odd and sure makes a person wonder what is happening. Ever since we reached the 10k sub mark, there has been issues. Hopefully in time the “issue” will be discovered. Thanks again! 🧡😊🤓

The absolute very best, most incredible pie I have ever had was marionberry at the Dayville Cafe in Dayville, Oregon! The filling was the perfect blend of tart/sweet, and the crust was amazing! I don’t normally eat the edges of pie crust, but this was so good! If the same baker is still there it is so worth the trip! And there are lots of interesting things to see and do in the area.

When I was learning to pull our campers and 5th wheel, I always tried to remember what someone had told me previously, "where your front end goes, your ass end will follow". 🤣🤣🤣 Oddly enough, it was true to form for me. Lol! You'll do just fine, Michelle! Can't wait to see what you end up with!
I'm sorry. As a retired truck driver your ass end will follow your front end only at highway speeds. Learning to back or taking tight slow turns with combination vehicle is always the hardest to learn. Windy conditions is another animal to consider.

This town was in one of the series Donovan. Great show! FYI, in Ponder, Texas there was a bank that was still standing that Bonnie and Clyde had robbed. Wait a minute, what is that toll booth into California?
@LivinRVision4 жыл бұрын
We’ve never seen that series yet. We’ll have to remember to stop by Ponder if we are ever in the vicinity. There is a bank back in Stuart, Iowa that was the very last bank that Bonnie and Clyde robbed also. Driven by it many times when we lived in Iowa but never knew that it was the last bank they robbed until I just Googled it.😂 The stations at the CA borders are the California Border Protection Stations (BPS) and are supposed to be the first line of defense in their pest exclusion efforts. Vehicles are supposed to be inspected for commodities infested with invasive species, but we have yet to be stopped when traveling through. Wonder how that’s working for them. 😂

I loved camping also years ago when the girls were younger. It always seemed everything smelled better when someone else was cooking! Was that a Road Runner I saw? Cute! I liked seeing it. I like Michelle's shirt, "Home is where I park it." Brian, that's a good idea to have a check list, as easily as it is to get distracted. I liked the wake up announcing National Drum Day then came a drum roll, while pouring the coffee. I guess National Doughnut Day came with a Cream filled Chocolate Glazed Donut did it? hehe The burgers were huge you had for lunch. They looked very inviting. Have a really good week both you & Michelle. I look forward to seeing you both next week.

Meeting you both was an honor and a great time and Vinny is everything we hoped for (and he is an absolute dream to drive! :-) I truly hope that Janie and I will be able to connect with you both soon and maybe even have a chance to caravan a time or three. =) Meanwhile, we hope you find the perfect next rig for your travels and that you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thanks for your concerns, Kevin. We understand what you’re saying. A lot goes on with our life besides what’s shown on camera. 😉 I like the Class A better myself. There’s a lot to consider that people don’t always say when making this statement...for instance...pulling a travel trailer isn’t even close to how easy an Airstream pulls as far as sway and issues in wind. As far as a fifth wheel, a lot goes into play like the length and weight and if you are using a SRW or DRW truck, etc. She is convinced on the truck even after explaining all of this, so we’re going to give it a shot and live the experience and if it doesn’t work out, we will switch again. Either way, we don’t plan to keep our next RV too long anyway, before changing again.

Great video and love your channel! Question - any particular reason for the decision to have Michelle drive the car instead of towing it behind the motorhome?
@LivinRVision3 жыл бұрын
We sold our dolly previously when we were in AZ. This was our plan to prepare to sell the motorhome and didn’t want to deal with the dolly in case a potential buyer didn’t want it.

Going from a classA dp to a trailer seems like a downgrade to me. Imo get a higher end diesel and tow a jeep 4 down
@LivinRVision4 жыл бұрын
That would be great but unfortunately not for us. Too rich for our blood. 😂 That would be even more expensive and more upkeep than an Airstream. Maybe someday after we retire. 👍🏻😊🤓

What’s in a date shake? Great video for a rainy morning in Texas. Hawks football 🏈 and basketball 🏀 looking good. Good luck with the truck and trailer.
@LivinRVision4 жыл бұрын
The shake has dates, milk and ice cream. That’s it! The dates are the sweetener. You can also get it with a banana added but we think the original is better. Go Hawks! Take care & stay safe Gary!

I agree the date shakes are Great! Been there done that. I must politely disagree with one thing you said about your rear heater that services your bedroom. The air coming out of the register is not a fire hazard or unsafe. If you were to put a thermometer above the vent register or in the duck work you would see the temperature is never going to be above about 90 degrees. There is no fire danger or unsafe. I have been in the propane industry for 30 years that is my experience working with heating contractors and heating manufacturers. So enjoy your furnace anytime you need it. Thanks for all the over the road experiences you share.
@LivinRVision4 жыл бұрын
Very interesting.The reason we mentioned that Dave, is because of how hot that heat always gets when standing in front of it. It is much hotter than the heat coming from your typical furnace or heat pumps. It’s every bit as hot as a space heater which have been known to catch fire when too close to a fabric. You wouldn’t put a space heater as close as the bed is to this vent we were referring to. When that slide is closed, that vent is right up against our bed which was a poor spot to put it IMO. Anyway, it simply gets extremely hot just like a space heater, so maybe you thought we were talking about something else?
