i would highly suggest you call uscis. Please remember this person is not an attorney and even though she give great detail, she won't have enough knowledge to answer all question, and i wouldn't take "it doesn't really matter" as whomever applying can easily get denied, so just call just in case.

a person that enters the United States on a B-2 visitor visa and fails to leave before the expiration date on Form I-94 does not have a valid immigration status. (Note: The duration of stay is dictated by the I-94, not the visa.) I was on OPT and it just finished a couple of days ago, I already submitted forms for my marriage visa (I-130, I-485) and the temporary work permit (I-765) and travel visa (I-131) and I got their receipts (forms I-797C, Notice of action). Hi Kseniya, I really appreciate for the all informations about green card process. I did concurrently filed for my I-130, I-485 and I-765 documents but USCIS rejected my Employment Authorization documents. They say you need to resubmit your the Work Authorization papers with the I-485 recipt and filling fee form. I was shocked and really upset. Their website says no more filling fee and anything else if you filed with I 130 and I 485 but they rejected. My unlucky experience can help for other people's process that's why I just wanted share it

That is a standard letter, so it doesn’t necessarily mean the fee is what’s the issue. You do not have to pay the fee at this time. Most applicants are able to resubmit it again with the I-485 receipt copy. Make sure everything else in the form is correct

I think so. You can apply these 3 forms together. Since you file the other 2 forms with 485, you don't have to pay the 131 and 765.

You don't have to have a job! In fact, if you did, you probably couldn't take it because you need the EAD to start.

I had a ssn from when I was on J1 but have lost it, what do i do in 13.b? Or will I have to go to the social security office to get a replacement

dear Kseniya, there is no way to download i-765 now. we are not in any of the categories listed in the on;ine version of the form. i am just preparing my hubby's adjustemnt of status. but there is no way to download the form. do you know where can i get it ? thank you so very much for all of your tremendous help!
