I struggle to continue to be a fan of hers. Grimes. Real, unscripted, relaxed, nonchalant and 100% chill during the entire interview. Grimes and BP seem give the most genuine and unscripted interviews. Many seem like robots or parrots with a rehearsed script. It is refreshing to find someone just being themselves in the industry, and having a fun dialogue without pushing politics or other "woke" bs. "Shinigami Eyes" my favorite video and song. The first time I heard it, I had it on repeat for over an hour. The music, tempo, stage, wardrobe, her voice, everything is absolutely perfect, imo.

Yeah, that whole part was weird. I think she meant "free" as in that its digital and has a value in the crypto-world. I'm not into NFTs, but I did look into it. In some ways, it was like a revival of art on a digital renaissance sort of level- lots of good and lots of bad art, AI art, and lots of art programs designed to make NFTs for avatars. On a digital art scale, artwork that wouldn't sell suddenly had this incentive that cryptocurrency put behind it. Everyone into it felt like they needed to collect them. In that way, sure, it had some freedom to it. Unfortunately, its the materialism behind the crypto/NFT culture that makes just okay artwork done by a celebrity worth millions of dollars in crypto. The only people that really bank off of any of it are celebrities. I think it'll all die down soon. Maybe people will learn to paint again. lol
