Welcome to another weekly vlog from Burbank Cards. Today was a big buying day for me at Burbank and it was a fun day shooting content with Rob, Ryan and the crew. There was a big seller that had loads of 90's and vintage cards. He brought up a signed Ken Griffey Jr which we deemed to be ____ ? Stay tuned .
It can be tough to identify if a hard signed sports card is real or fake. Autographs can have weird stray marks, forgeries signed by the same hand, or a bad signed graph. The best bet is to send to authentication via PSA Card or run it by a shop to see their opinion. Nobody likes fake sports cards or autographs.

What a deep and interesting rabbit hole this card shop/city is, churning cards seemingly in such a casual atmosphere with easy going ownership and staff who love the hobby. I've seen this shop on You Tube more then a few times and I'm always amazed. Looking forward to the secret underground tunnel reveal...

Im so glad I got reintroduced to the hobby. Now, I can’t get enough. Looking forward to opening up shop, and making some content myself. Here in south Texas, Laredo,’to be exact, we don’t have a LCS…….hopefully, that will change, when I get more established, after I launch this little brand!! Love the videos man!! there are still a lot of people holding onto junk wax thinking it's worth a fortune. Most don't want to tell them that it's not because they just won't believe them. But If you tell them some will act as if you're trying to trick them into buying it for cheap.

That looks like Griffeys 1988 89 Rookie Auto. I've seen a few that look exactly the same graded by PSA currently on ebay. I've noticed alot of shop owners are not as Knowledgeable as you think. I've had shop owners ask me some questions about modern cards I thought everyone in the hobby knew.

Seams like if signed isnt on card from card company cannot get coa. I sent a 92 Frank Thomas card into PSA from both grade, they said was not real. But fact was i watched him sign card a a padres game and has been in pc since.
