Good to see you making another video, as a young father once a long time ago, I can relate to the personal thoughts for your children. Embracing all forms of experience is the path of enlightenment. Sharing those thoughts/experiences brings everyone further up the curve. Bless you brother, love to see you son, made a grandfather smile. You remind me alot of my son(s). All good men, keep doing you, sharing the character of how good men live.

Great video! As usual very thoughtful, even down to the shots you set up. We selfishly ask that you keep making them but also understand you got priorities to keep. In all you do, set yourself up for not only success but safety. You got little ones that care more about you than the fish! Tight lines man!

Daniel It is refreshing to see you have the kind of day that everyone experiences. Failure is as much a part of life as success is. Through the magic of editing, whole days of fishing turns into minutes. At the end of the day, you didn't get skunked and even if you did, you have shown the reality of fishing, which many youtubers are afraid to do. Some of our fellow fishers won't even show video of the days of no success. That is just unrealistic. There are amongst us however, those whom are blessed and can catch any day they go out. For the majority of us though, I believe filling a cooler with the days catch is possible, but highly unlikely. We could have the good ol debates on lures and swim baits and colors, or fresh and frozen baits, or being on a boat compared to the shore. The possibilities are endless. To see your struggles solidifies the struggles of others. Thank you for keeping it 100.

I’m sure it will make it that much more satisfying when you do.. he will one day be a great fisherman .. my dad said I was drenched by a wave and baptized while he was fishing 😂

Thank you Daniel with this video. I love watching your fishing videos because I love fishing. But for me, it’s not really about the fishes that you catch. It’s all about the journey. It’s about the beautiful places that you go to. I am 54 years old and I wish I had gone to the many places that you had shown us through the years. I am just grateful that you had share your awesome journey with us. 💪😊👍

I just said that! Hahaa.. that's exactly what your son is gonna say. Brandon is correct.. I too have health issues, Rheumatoid Arthritis. At any moment that sucker pops up, and I'm stuck! Like the cramp you had in your arm.. mine will last 2 to 3 days. Pain is nonstop. Then, it's gone, like nothing ever happened. So now I'm limited on what I can do. If you ain't failing, you're surely missing out on some of the special, character building experiences and more importantly, the emotions that those experiences facilitates, adding texture and enriching the journey of what some may evaluate as existing to simply exist - it's existing just to exist until you make a commitment to yourself that you always will add more value to your existence by simply challenging yourself, injecting some risk, taking a stance - that whole risk/reward balancing act, raising the stakes, adding legit material and value to said existence.

also you know how california has that algae issue causing shellfish toxins...you can geneticially modify the algae to not produce the toxins & introduce it into the ocean to compete with the algae that causes toxins. & it can breed together & if it breeds you can make sure to get the algae with out the toxins to pass on it's traits..

A day fishing is better than the day working. A day at the ocean is worth the effort unless you are so jaded that you cannot appreciate the day. A fish at the market can be OK if the ocean does not provide. It's the time with the child that is the prize.
