This news may come as a surprise for a lot of people that know me. Partly because I haven't shared this story online yet and partly because, if you follow me and Alex Tima, videos have been coming out pretty steadily on his channel. Getting back to work helped me cope. I hope this video helps people who have had similar experiences. Thank you to the people in the parking lot for calling the ambulance, thank you to the EMT guys for helping me, and thank you to my family and friends (you) for giving me something to live for.

This is really incredible. I think you're my hero now. This has inspired me so much. I have severe anxiety and depression, and I'll remember your voice and story in my darkest moments. "We all matter. You matter." The way you told this story was so beautiful and honest, and while I will never understand exactly what you went through, I really felt the emotions you conveyed through this video. Such an example of human resilience. You're really one a million, stronger than most.

This was a really harrowing video to watch but at the same time I'm really happy that you made it. Even though I've never experienced anything similar, it is both educational and inspirational to hear someone recount what they went through. I'm extremely glad that you're safe, I'm sure everyone is and I wish you a swift recovery.

My across the street neighbor and friend drowned just this past Saturday the 8th in Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas near Estes Cove. He was a very healthy 75 yo but I think the 65’ water drained his batteries really quickly. He dove in with his gf aboard and complained of the cold. Soon, he hollered, “I think I need help!” She turned the boat around to present the ladder at stern, but he was already gone. His body was not recovered until Sunday near noon. They used sonar to find him. I still can’t believe it. Anyway, that’s why I’m here bc I’m investigating. Thank you for your account. I’m glad you made it !!

Thank you for sharing what you experienced and how you kept yourself going with thoughts of your loved ones, this is something that could save a lot more people than you would think, especially those who may not be having a very good year.

I'm glad you are alive. I may sound weird but seeing this video helped me a lot. Being someone who deals with depression, I feel like I would just give up because living wasn't worth all that experience. However, your video reminded me that many people love me and care about me and now I think that I wouldn't just give up. Thank you.

You matter, you affect other people, and they love you. If you feel like you’re swallowing water and your tired of trying, just know that it is so worth it to keep going. It gets better. ❤️🎄

Wow, I can't even explain how i relate to all your feelings about it, i had a similar experience in summer 3 years ago, was about 150m from shore with huge waves without anything to help me float, luckily a huge surfer dude rushed to Me and we went slowly to shore, this type of life or death situations are horrifying but so quiet, i can remember looking at shore screaming "HELPPPP!!" and no-one would react, waves were so big I couldn't float without wasting energy, but it was a depressing attempt at waving to those people that worked. I don't know this guys name but, he saved my life.

I have experienced extreme dehydration and heatstroke. Dehydration is a very painful thing to experience. I never had hypothermia even though I've lived in some very cold places. I'm glad you made it and could share this story so I could learn the other side. Take care sir

Yes sir. Life is so precious and I didn’t fully understand that before this experience. I still don’t but I’m working on it. Good to see you on KZbin my friend, always a pleasure to hear from one of the funniest guys from school. I still remember your “cool transition” bit from elementary school. And your super hot chilli snacks you had in your room when we were like 12 lmao. Peace and wellbeing my dude.
