Good Going, Skinners! Seems like this project has taken forever to get under roof. Very glad to see you buttoning it up before the snow really starts to fly! Whipple

Hi Heather & Cecil. Your doing a big balls job on your roof. I would have subcontracted that roof before now. I take my hat off to you both. For God's sake, take care. :-))

Cecil either make or buy or rent you a hook ladder for putting on the rest of the ridge cap before you fall for real. If you do fall spread your arms and legs out so you can't roll down.

Down here in the south we put them in the flat we don't have to worry much about snow and ice but it is the high wind of the tropical storms and in the flat we get a better hold it's going to rust anyway they don't make it like they used to I have seen barns down here that there is a little rust on the outside but it looks like new on the bottom that is a big thing down here to save the wood and tin off these older buildings it's worth more than the new stuff and it about recycling God Bless Y'all and stay safe 🙏🙏🙏👍 maybe y'all will be dry this winter and not have to work in the snow and rain 😂😂😂😂

Shouldn’t you have put a piece of foam under the edge of that ridge cap
@SkinnersOffGrid10 күн бұрын
Hello..I've never had much luck with that foam, it always seems to blow out after a few years :-( If I have a problem where I find I need that..I will just use a can of spray foam from in the attic, that stuff won't blow away...plus it also holds the ridge cap on in strong winds as well. Cheers!
@whalleyish10 күн бұрын
@@SkinnersOffGrid sorry because when i asked that question it was with caution because i had a feeling you where going to answer that in your video then i had the thought of using foam would be just as good so i have a lot of respect to you as a builder

Cecil if I have told you this already lease excuse me. I believe this is important, The Bible talks about a 7000 year period of time before the Heavens and Earth will burn up with fervent heat and the New Heavens and New Earth are made by God. Well we are getting very close to the end of that 6000 year period before judgement is released on Earth. Then Christ will reign for 1000 years and Satan, his fallen Angels, and Nonbelievers will go to their Judgement. Please ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior before it is too late.
