Go go go! You’re likely far ahead with the shop and just catching up with editing. Gonna be amazing seeing you standing in your shop with your tools.

Thank you! Yes, I’ve got quite the backlog of footage to edit, including some new shop furniture videos. Just a couple more videos before I’ll be standing in the shop full of tools. 😊

Trusses should be 600mm or 24 inches on center. Add an additional truss if the end gap is over that distance. You could also add a handmade frame to reduce costs. You can also build your own trusses depending on the cost difference. Don't worry about mistakes; as long as you rectify them, you have learned a lesson. Great work!

I would only suggest you get a palm nailer. It saved my shoulders. And fingers. And time. And lost/bent nails... :)

I hit my fingers so many times during the build. I still have some black fingernails 😬 Palm nailer sounds like a great tool!

FYI, it's called a "drop truss" because it drops under the top cord of the first common truss. The 2x4's going out over it are your "ladder" to create an extended, cantilevered eave for your gable-end fascia. Good work sorting out the truss tie-downs. LOL It's all a steep learning curve if you've never been exposed to framing. Looks like you could use a few better KZbin channels to watch!

Thanks for the info! I definitely could have spent more time watching a variety of other channels and doing a bit more research before starting the trusses. 😊
