For me, it is absolutely awesome when Joey catches you, when you think you are off camera. There is a whole other dimension to your videos when he catches you like that. It is like a window opens and there You are, the real you, not the camera ready you... You actually come alive and it is truley beautiful. One thing to remember is that land and animals can really tie you to one spot. Look deeply before deciding. I prefer renting with outside taken care of so I can up and go anytime rather than have to arrange for lawn care and people to watch over a place when I go. But I also miss having space to breath without seeing neighbors too. Life is often compromise.

More of that beautiful Canadian scenery. Thanks! If you ever need to replace the tongue jack, they make electric ones with a manual connection. That way if you have electric issues you can manually crank the jack up or down.

Mount Robson is almost always obscured by clouds. I’ve passed it countless times, always with a camera, and only once was the peak visible. It makes its own weather.

That is the strange thing about the mountains. One area can be socked in completely but go a small distance and find totally different weather. Like a bunch of different systems rather than just one big one.

My camper had an electric jack screw for lifting the trailer tongue. It started to fail so I took it apart only to find the long twisty thing needed some simple grease to help it turn. Now it works fine!

I travel in a 23 ft.motorhome, the fridge door fell off, as the plastic where the hinge pin fit, I was able to find a handy man in town, all ok now. I go to a knitting group at home and a friend said my hair looked good. I said I finally found someone to cut it like I want, me. I love your videos.

After 5 years I doubt quit is in you Catherine, we all go through periods of self reflection or doubt. It is part of what makes us human. Only you can choose your path. That close up of the mountain range 1:29 into the video is breath taking. like the Gods reached down from above and haphazardly placed it there like we would our keys on the counter side ways. Would probably be at least a two cups of coffee moment for me, not sure why it struck me so. If you quit, scenes like that will be fewer and more familiar. Happy birthday.

My dad was a full-timer for 20+ years. He would have stayed a nomad, but his health and age required him to leave the lifestyle. He LOVED being on the road. I think if his health would have been better, he would have stayed. He began his nomad journey in '92.

They have RV dealerships in Canada, that you could get a new Winegard Wifi antenna and with some decor roof sealant and Eternabond tape put it in yourself. It is really a piece of cake. I am sure there are how to YT videos on it.

Ex roofer in Oregon: highly recommend repairs using eternal bond tape. Amazon has good examples color & width. Good seal requires small amt prep(acetone). Can be applied even if raining.

Been full time RVing for 6 years. I understand what you mean by community. We go to Florida in the winter at a resort for 4-5 months and I feel like I’m in a neighborhood and get to see friends I’ve met again and do other things:pickleball, bike riding, quilting, dances etc. then come March we begin traveling and following the weather again. Just staying in one place for 4 months in beautiful weather helps. We enjoy watching you.

Thanks for the insight into some of your thoughts about road life - it’s not all rainbows and unicorns! After finding the nice scenic campsite (often hard to come by) there’s the “now what?” - there still needs to be something to do, and beyond that, a satisfaction and alrightness that overcomes the loneliness and questions “what am I doing out here exactly?” day after every single day. I appreciate seeing/hearing you work through it some in this video.

Sorry for your roof issues. As a decades long RVer, I always have a caulking gun with both silicone and Dicor. Dicor (for RV use) in particular is for roof use and has fixed or prevented many an issue. I saw you had gorilla tape, which often handy along with teflon tape for plumbing.

FLEX SEAL works great!! It would stop that leak cold....it sprays on...comes in a "clear" color...I used it on a skylight....after tightening the skylight frame I sprayed around the edges...no leaks at all since then....

Thank you for you stories. I take delivery of my 6x12 utility trailer tomorrow. It's being built out by a professional company that does van conversions. My dog Rosie and I have been using a pop-up rooftop tent on a flatbed trailer. Ecoflo Delta Pro 3 with the Ecoflo generator, starlink ... I'm in Missouri and hope to meet musicians and other boondockers in my travels!

Another nice visual episode. Too bad about the leak. We’ve never used that WiFi thing. Just another useless piece sitting up there. Our Hideout looks exactly like your rig, but ours has a Murphy bed that creates lots of room when it’s folded up. Hard to give up the rv travel lifestyle, but a home base can be nice too.

Be sure to dry out the insulation in your roof well, so you do not mold. By the way, since you are using your shower, you can get condensation in the insulation, so check on how to keep it dry.

Looks like you visited and got out of Jasper, Alberta just in time. Sadly, as you've likely already heard, a horrible wildfire went through the area a few days ago. Besides the thousands of acres of beautiful forest that is now gone, 30 to 50 percent of the town is now gone. Over 25,000 locals and tourists have been evacuated. I live very close and spent a lot of time in Jasper. My heart is broken.
