Really proud of our first half performance, the lads were well up for it and showed their potential. The second off just showed the gap between the quality of their players and ours, We were never expecting to win that game, only hoping, The only thing I was hoping for, was that we didn’t get embarrassed, and I don’t feel embarrassed about that performance at all. Liverpool played some beautiful football in the second half and their goals would’ve torn open the best defences in the world! They deserved to win, no question. But if we play like that against Everton, Wolves. Fulham, Southampton, Leicester etc. We’re gonna be just fine.
