I think people forget about what it means to keep god in your heart. To a Catholic, god is simply the spirit of creation. The spirit of creation doesn't want you to be dispirited or afraid. The spirit of creation wants to lead you to create. The spirit of creation is ever looking for the positive side, amidst chaos, amidst seemingly nothing. It is hope and wish and ambition and belief that if you try, there is a chance, and even if you fail, there is a purpose and a reason and a path forward. If you keep the spirit of creation in your heart, and in your hands, you can inspire the spirit of creation in others, and so you will never be alone. To feel loved, to feel relieved by embracing creation, these will remove a lot of stress in your life, and to be ever looking forward is to have a mission, no matter how vague. The spirit of creation will guide you. Renounce cynicism and hate and these burdens will drift away, even if the pain does not.

It would be interesting to see his blood markers to see if anything jumps out. Is his hematocrit lower like a woman’s? What about his sex hormones or ratio of hormones? The reason women live longer is said to be because either estrogen preserves lifeor testosterone reduces it. There is a black box warning of death on testosterone replacement therapy packages. Also heme iron may act as a pro oxidant, Damaging tissue and resulting in heart disease and cancer. Seeing his blood level of this would also be interesting.
