I would love to become a CASA volunteer. I am juggling three children while trying to search for another job. This opportunity sounds like something I would definitely be interested in.

Thank you for your comment, Tonnika. Our hearts go out to you and your children as you navigate this tough time. There are CASA organizations all over the country and I am sure which ever one you are closest to would love to have you become a Volunteer when you are ready!

How are you liking it? Been considering.

MixedUpMargie well given the pandemic circumstances we had to do Zoom training which I’m sure is complete different than if we were to do the in person training. The material they covered was very in-depth and quite lengthy but it’s spread out over the course of a few weeks. If I didn’t understand something I always felt like I could ask questions with out being scrutinized. Everyone is super nice. My mentors are very open in communication. I’m at the end of my training, I’ll be attending my first hearing next week. So far so good.

The fact that some of these comments are so focused on the race of these beautiful souls rather than on their hearts and their selflessness is disappointing to me. Who TF cares if they're white, black or orange? Maybe these are the only people that volunteered to speak for this video. Why do people always have to assume the worst. smh

I know casa volunteers help children I'm in family court in San Antonio my daughter's been sexually exploited her mother which is me a veteran mom set up to be murdered and exploited online to be killed before going to court it's pathetic because I'm not crazy I am a targeted individual the way the government helps these certain individuals kill I'm a security guard I have my whole life documented for the past three and a half to seven and a half years and my daughter cops correctional officers and attorneys have exploited her on the internet trying to coerce a custody targeted to look like something she's never been because they're getting it for cheap prostitutes now there's the truth about everything in San Antonio because I'm a veteran mother who didn't deserve to be taken advantage of

I like this promo, however, why why whyyyy are all of the volunteers you all chose for this ad Caucasian?? Why? Was this ad in Iowa or North Dakota?

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. We have heard this feedback and took action by including a more diverse set of Volunteers for our subsequent videos. We encourage you to check those out on our channel. Representation is very important to us. Thank you!

I'm in a rural area & if I were to join the county I live in, there would be no other POC, because there just aren't that many in the area. In the county I'm in training for, (still small, but more populated) out of the 7 CASA employees & volunteers, there are only two POC (me & an employee). Not every area has a lot of multicultural populations.

beautiful, but hopefully next time you can find a more racially diverse group of casa volunteers to put in your video.
@amandacortesramirez96544 жыл бұрын
CHELLiETx3 if that’s all you got out of this video then you really have some moral issues. What’s more important? A child’s safety or your need to be politically correct?
@CHELLiETx34 жыл бұрын
@@amandacortesramirez9654 no, actually not the only thing I got from the video. I think it was really beautiful and well directed. I am actually in the training stages to be a CASA volunteer and where I am located there is a lot of diversity in volunteers! I would have loved to see that represented more in the video as opposed to the typical "white savior" narrative we are used to seeing. No disrespect intended.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback on this video. Diversity and representation are important topics for us. We have a new video series debuting in June that better represents the multitude of backgrounds our Volunteers come from. We hope you subscribe so you can see our next series. We value your comment. Thank you!

CASA takes in money, they should pay.

The money goes towards the kids!! This kind of work needs to be completed by people who aren’t motivated by money 😒😒
