The material is deep and once you see the words, you can just turn off cc [closed captioning] and just stare at the image to get the affect embedded in Jung’s prose/poetic form. I found that in reading it, it was similar to some of Rilke’s works, in that he shifted and alternated from the Yin to the Yang side, an orchestration so to speak. I you want more detailed information about Jung's first mandala, Systema Munditotius, Jungian Analyst, Gary Sparks back in October of 2020 presented the details on Skip Conover's Carl Jung Depth Psychology Reading Group KZbin Channel here: Jungian Analyst J. What illustrates the Yin and Yang? I'm not aware of this alternation.

Brilliant. Thank you. So much gold in this. The part about mankind’s suffering being without end, and that if there were to be an end mankind would not see it was reprised by Psychotherapist Irv Yalom in his commentary on suicide. Whenever I hear an extraordinary truth in psychological writings, it’s only a matter of time until i trace it back to Jung.

A stunning image and powerful message. I'll be watching this more than once. Much is mysterious to me, lots of paradox, yet a sense of great importance.

Thanks Nancy! Yes, Jung's writings can seem mysterious, but when presented as a meditation, there is a rhythm similar to some of Rilke's works, in that he shifted and alternated from the Yin and Yang points of view, an orchestration so to speak. You can also turn the cc [closed captioning] off and just stare at the image to get the affect. Also Jungian Analyst Gary Sparks, way back in October 2020 presented the details of Jung's first mandala on Skip Conover's Carl Jung Depth Psychology Reading Group KZbin channel. 🙏

Yes, Nancy, I agree. There is a rich mixture of images and energies: hot 🥵 and cold 🥶, Fire 🔥 and ice ❄️, Heaven 😇 and Hell 😈 , individuation ✝️ and the collective 🌏.

Highly appreciate your Rilke's poems with subtitles. They are all beautiful. If possible, would you please consider doing the same thing for his Sonnets to Orpheus, all 55 poems. Your calm voice is better than anyone reading Rilke's poems on KZbin. Many thanks!

Thank you, Feng for your comments and encouragement. I have been considering doing his Sonnets to Orpheus and I am looking for the best translation into English that best reflects the tone and mood of Rilke. 🙏
