So something cool about the Lord Discordant is that his Death to the False Emperor goes on on a 5+ as he gives all friendly legion daemon engines, of which he is one, +1 to hit

The problem with that is sadly most Daemon Engines do not in fact get DttFE as well. It feels like a weird thing how even after Faith and Fury, the rules for factions and certain key 'this is how Chaos stays viable' rules don't carry over to the armored side.

Narrative Rules are fine if you have an agreement with your opponent and both of you are more interested in creating a story; but as soon as someone is more interested in 'winning the game' the rules are too easily abused without the Matched Play restrictions.

I like the blue-black colour on the venomcrawlers - I can't tell if it's a painting effect or a trick of the light, which ironically is exactly the effect I want to go for when I paint mine.

Hey the blue is Vallejo boltgun blue ontop of leadbelcher spray. The crawlers took a day to build and paint so nothing too special xD

Great batrep, but don't give up on eliminators just yet. Just make sure they have rerolls nearby and you should be fine. Also, make a group of intercessors a vigilus detachment for those sweet strategems

Francis Craft the Sorcerer is based on the Space Marine Captain from the old Assault on Black Reach boxed set, with components from the Empire Wizards set, among other places.

Winters' channel, winters rules. I built a list that day that didn't require summoning but winters planned the scenario for it so we used it. If it was up to me there would have been no summoning.
