No need for paying money before hand for Wagah Border, you can get Ride to wagah border anytime before 5-6 PM as its popular place, that is before the Border Prade starts, Punjabi people are honest, but its still better to be safe, because few bad apples everywhere. Madam please avoid states like delhi, uttar pradesh, jarkhand, bihar, kolkata, it's not safe for tourists. You can travel anywhere in india except the above places. Travel to Himalayas of ladakh , himachal pradesh, utrakhand, sikkim, arunachal pradesh. It's really beautiful.
